In an act of random boredness, I decided to dress up as my favorite tiger, Kisa. I wish they had tiger ears to complete her though. What do you think - am I close? Is anyone else here dressed like a Fruba charrie?

Yeah, I'd say your avi looks pretty close to Kisa.
I haven't tekteked any of the characters myself yet but maybe I will soon.

I actually find it quite hard sometimes. Just recently I tried tekteking a simple DDR character, Jenny, and it was almost impossible. I also tried to tektek Midori from GH3 and died in the process. D:
