Marie trotted along a grassy meadow, humming a soft tune as she made her way through the tall blades of grass. Ocassionallyy stopping at a bush to pick off it's sweet berries, she giggled to herself. "Only the sweet ones marie, you dont want to get a belly-ache!" She spoke to herself frequently, not at all by insanity. (Unless in a court-room, that would be her plea. >_>;; ) But more along the lines that she never got to socialize. She continued to trot happily until reaching a large tree with a shaded area under it, she laid under it, folding her legs delicately under her and watched as the blades of grass swatyyed as the breeze blew by.

Jaci made his way boldly through the forest, crossing brush piles and brooks and other such random obstacles in his seemingly invisible path. You'd think he'd mapped out every twist, bend, and loop on which he traveled. But nope. Nope, nope. It all depended on what detour he could find, what little distraction could be discovered to lead him away from his almost straight original line.
Purple ears twitched, pastel green eyes shifted out of their foggy, distant state and all senses turned to the direction of a voice. Feminine, he could call from even such a distance. Age, though, or exact location, were beyond his skills. So he followed it, simple as that, stepping over what was required to step over, walking around others.
A meadow. Alright, common enough. He surveyed the area, blinking once when he realized the source of the voice was settled beneath the tree. Yep. Definitely female.
"You know, talking to one's self might be considered odd by anyone that happens to overhear." His voice was light, curious as he made his way towards her. "Although, on a slightly different topic, so long as you don't eat the green berries, all of the ones on that bush are sweet and safe to eat."

Marie's ears perked up, and her sapphire blue eyes focused immeadtly (sp?) on the younger male approaching her. "Oh , I know perfectly the odd-ness of which i speak. Better to speak with one's self then.... with no one at all" She thought about waht she was saying, and blinked a few times before concentrating on the male "Red and ripe, just right. Green and mellow kills a fellow." She said happily, she enjoyed a gentle breeze as it passed by, she was in a generally good mood.

Jaci pondered her words for a moment, soon nodding his head in agreement. "You have a point there. My apologies then, I meant no disrespect, madam." He bowed his head in respectful greeting.
He stopped a good speaking distance from her, not hesitant but finding no need to close the distance and risk insulting the mare. If conversation told him it was alright to move a bit closer in a show of good nature and possible friendship, he would. If not... eh, he's fine where he stands.
A smile though, lit his features as a chuckle rippled from his chest. "Exactly. I'm glad to see a wise head upon your whithers, especially out here. Although, forgive my rudeness if you will, why are you out here, never mind alone?" He cocked his head to the side in question, though still keeping his voice light and pleasant in tone.
