 This is the palace. The kings and queens live here. Its a rather nice place and can been seen form almost any where on the island. There are many places it cant be seen at. But for the most part you can see it form almost every where. Its the nicest place on the hole island.

Reyna clapped her hands tired, and the portal began to disappear. It took her awhile to realize that she needed to hurry, which woke her up. With wide eyes, she gripped the edges of the portal and began to attempt to pull herself through. Reyna was so lucky, if she had waited a moment longer, the portal would have locked and she would risk having to use more energy to open another. With a yelp, Reyna fell out of the portal and onto the soft grass of the palace grounds. She felt as if her head was spinning, but she slowly took after a few minutes. The girl stood up, and surprisingly, she felt wide awake again. Reyna shook for a moment, trying to get the rest of the tiredness to leave. The next moment, she gripped Rai's hand, and began to lead him across the palace field. "Shh! If the guards see you, they WILL escort you off the property, and they wont let you in. This is part of the first challenge, sneaking in!" Reyna whispered.

Rai blinked, then smiled, watching Reyna. "Sneaking, you say..." He grinned, and looked at the palace. "I think I can manage that..."

Reyna smirked, it seemed as if none of the guards were out today. Or... They were just well hidden. As she lead Rai towards the palace entrance, she eyed around like a hawk. Still no one.. There was bound to be some guards at the entrance, so they would need to get in another way. Reyna suddenly stopped, and tried to think of another entrance. There were windows, and one cellar door that lead up stairs and into the palace. "Which way do you wanna go: the dark cellar entrance, or the windows? The cellar is easier, but the windows are more convenient." Reyna questioned. She slowly let his hand go, as he arms fell back to her side.

Reyna trudged off as soon as he answered. She headed fast, towards the wall of the palace. Something was up ahead, and it looked like a door leading towards the Earth's center. Reyna broke into a run, and she appeared right next to the wooden door. Without hesitation, she fell forward. The girl completely disappeared, leaving the cellar doors exactly how they were at first. It was all magic, a trick to get people to think they could not get in. Reyna knew it though, from passed experiences. She fell down a far drop, onto pillows that were scattered across the dark pavement. "Just how I remember it.." Reyna whispered into the darkness. There was just one thing different, it looked as if there was no door down here.. She stood up slowly, and began to feel around on the walls. Last time, there had been a door opening to a staircase but it seemed as if it was moved or just gone all of the way. Nothing, she couldn't find it! With a frustrated grunt, she threw herself onto the ground. Nothing could hurt her down here, since the whole entire ground was covered in pillows for when people came down from the "doors".

Rai blinked, and went to the cellar doors. He didn't know if this was a good idea.... buuut... He shut his eyes, and fell forward, landing on pillows. He smiled and opened his eyes. "Awesome..." He stood, as Yin and Ryo came down after him, Yin landing on his shoulder, and Ryo floating beside him.

Reyna quickly stood up, and tried to look around in the darkness. She wanted to flick a flame on her finger, but she knew it would be a horrible idea. Some things in here could be flammable, and dangerous if mixed with fire. Like the pillows for instance, they could easily burst into flames. Reyna sighed out, but stood exactly where she was. "Rai.. There is only one problem. I cannot find the stairs, or even a door!" She cried out, sounding a little frightened. Reyna took no time, and she was against the wall again in a quick moment. She walked along it, trying to feel for any grooves that would be a door, or anything. Still, nothing. Then she slammed one of her hands against her forehead, making a loud smacking sound. "Duh! The first door is under the pillows somewhere, and leads into another cellar! Then that leads to the stairs!" Reyna called out, with a sigh of relief. Instantly, she dove into the vast amounts of pillows and began to toss them around as she looked.

Rai walked a few moments, before kicking away a few pillows. He then stomped his foot on the ground, making a hollow thud. "Here it is." He said, as he began to clear the pillows away.

Reyna flung away a few more pillows, before hearing Rai. She quickly stood up, and began to make her way towards his voice. She knew when she was next to him, because she could feel his body heat. Reyna didn't hesitate a moment longer, she bent down and pulled on a hatch that connected to the door. It opened with a loud creak, and had another small drop. Sadly, there was nothing to cushion the landing on the next fall. Reyna let herself drop into the next area, and she landed on her feet. She didn't even wait for Rai this time, and began heading towards the stairs. Light shone a tiny bit, so Reyna knew exactly where the stairs were. Quickly, she was in front of the door and she could hear talking on the other side. It was the Queen's voice, the head person of the testing.. Everything was right on the other side. Reyna opened the door slowly, and everyone stared as she walked into the testing room. The girl dropped down on her knees, and began to kiss the floor before the Queen. It was a normal greeting, that stated your respect. It was obviously more common for girls to kiss the floor, and men only needed to bow.

Rai lept down, hitting the floor with a small thud. He stood, and walked to the door, and stopped behind Reyna. He gave a warm smile, and bowed, before straightening. Ryo came through the doorway first, landing beside Rai. Yin came next, and curled around Rai's neck. She bowed her head, and smiled, watching the Queen and others in the room intently.

(I'll play the Queen.. For now.)
Reyna kept herself on the ground, waiting instructions from the Queen herself. With a chuckle, the beautiful woman stood gracefully. "Princess Reyna, who is this charming young man you have brought? And for heavens sake! Stand!" Within a split second, Reyna jumped to her feet and tried not to make eye contact with the lady of higher rank.
"T-This is.. Rai. He is a Pr- I mean, Blacksmith." Reyna had a hard time speaking, for she hated talking to the Queen. It made her feel embarrassed on how badly her speech was coming out at the moment. The Queen took easy steps right on over to Rai. She held out her hand, beckoning him to shake it.
"Welcome Blacksmith, Rai. I assume, do to your dragon, you think you are a Prince? Is that not right?" The silver in her hair shone brightly in the lit room. "Yes, the King and I are getting close to our retirement time. So, as you are aware, we are looking for the best Prince and Princess to take our place." The Queens look changed to some kind of glare. She needed to be serious, after all, this was a serious thing. Reyna watched intently, but quickly shrunk off to sit in a waiting chair. She shivered slightly, seeming afraid of the Queen.

Rai smiled warmly, and shook the Queen's hand. "No, I don't. Not yet, anyways. That's why me and Reyna came here. To see if I'm even Prince material." Rai said, reaching up to pet Yin's scales gently. "This is Yin" he said, motioning to the blue dragon perched on his shoulder. Yin nodded and spoke in a wise, yet young voice. "It's a pleasure..." She said with a smile. "And this is Ryo." Rai said, motioning to the phoenix at his feet. Ryo bowed his head, and looked back up to the Queen.

The Queen shook her head side to side. "I don't care about your partner. Or perhaps partners in this case." She pointed towards Reyna. "Please, if you can have both of them take a seat over there. You are doing this examine by yourself." The Queen kept her hand pointed that way for a moment longer, before taking it back to her side. She began to walk gracefully into the arena type area. She motioned for Rai to follow. The Queen stood in the area, with a broad smile. Before waiting for him to come longer, she spoke. "First. Use your ice in the best way you can. Meaning, I want to see the full power of yourself." She already knew his power, she could sense it from the moment he had walked into the room.

Rai nodded, and the two went by Reyna. He stepped into the ring, and rotated his arms, smiling a bit. "Haven't had a lot of practice, but I'll give it a shot..." He said, shutting his eyes. He wondered if this would work... Yin watched intently, her eyes scanning Rai in her own examination... Rai held out his hands, and a swirling mass of snow gathered in front of him. He lifted his hands, and the snow rose, swirling faster, as he shut his hands. The snow became supercompacted, and formed a marble of ice. It floated to his hand, and he smiled. He threw up the marble into the air, ans it became a small dove, made of ice. It then shattered, and formed a small snowfall. Rai smiled, and looked to the snow, lifting his hands. The snow gathered in a ball like the one Rai had created a few moments ago. It was a bit larger. Rai closed one hand over the marble, and ice began to crawl out of his hand, and within 20 seconds, a sword was made, comprised of ice. He smiled, and looked down at the sword, then to the Queen. "I hope that was what you had in mind..." He said, smiling.
