It's just like previous seasons, only better!
All former, current and to-be guild and Gaia rules apply. Other than that, chat, ramble and/or have fun.
Go!!

Mkay, I'll steal the first post.
So...is everyone out there, in the depths of the internet having a good holiday break or lack thereof?
For me, it's a bit of both. As hectic as my first semester of school was, I miss it and can't wait to go back on the 7th, but I'm liking the time back home with my family....sorta. Moving out than moving back in for the holiday's only made me realize how ********' crazy this house causes me to go. It's aura like....eats away at my soul...
But other than that.....it's all good. I have a feeling 2008 is going to be a good year for me.
cool

My holiday's been pretty good so far.
I got a new DS for christmas, so I'm happy. Plus, it came with Phantom Hourglass, so I have something to do until the 20th or so, when my semester starts.
Yeah, I've got a long vacation, but I've got no days off during the semester, save the ones that are for EVERYBODY, like March Break and the like.

Next semester, I'll have classes all day Tuesday + Thursday and that's it. It's 12 credits though, so the workload isn't as light as you may think.
Xmas highlight for me include: iPod Nano 2nd Gen (hot pink) + MS office for Mac.
However, if all goes well, I'll be getting my own, legal copy of the Adobe CS3 master collection in the mail sometime soon. I got a mondo discount on it, but I'm having to buy it for myself, yet my sister gets a wacom tablet for Xmas.
Being the oldest child really sucks...

Bummer about the whole purchase your own CS3 thing. That's always annoying.
My Christmas was pretty good. I got a mini video camera for my upcoming semester to China, so that was cool. I also got the game Killer Bunnies, which I've been wanting since my birthday back in Oct. It's so much fun!!!!
When it comes to the whole semester schedule stuff, I have no clue. I know what classes I'm taking, but that's about it. I don't get my schedule until I get to school, and I don't even know who I'm rooming with. It's going to be an adventure!

Yes, happy belated new year everyone. Though it's off to a very icky start, I think it's gonna be a damn good year for me. High-point #1: School starts in...less than a week, I move back to my Aunt's sometime this weekend and I can't be more excited.
*runs in circles*
@Plynx: Semester abroad in China? Sweet. What's your major?

International Studies with an emphasis in culture. It combines language and culture classes with politics and business. It's a lot of fun.

Oh. Interesting. With a major in International studies, you'll be able to travel alot with your job, no?
My major's Graphic Design, for anyone who cares to know. I'm McLovin' it so far.

Yeah I hope so. I definitely want to travel more. I grew up as a missionary kid, so we traveled a lot. But we've lived in the States for nearly nine years now, and I'm dying to get out of the country. (so needless to say i'm excited about my upcoming semester)
Graphic Design is an awesome major! My ex-roommate is one, and loves it!! But then again she'd always been the artsy type. What kind of classes does your's require? Katie (my ex-roomie) has to take a both traditional and digital art classes along with stuff like an HTML class and the like. Is your's along the same lines or completely different?

Yeah, my course of study seems to be along the same lines. Of course, it'll be another quarter or two before I get to courses related directly to my major. Right now I'm still just taking core classes. Well, last quarter, my first quarter, I did have Intro to Graphic Design, which was by far my favorite class.
And yeah, I'm only a semester in but I'm already loving it. I can't remember exactly when Graphic Design as a career option floated in my mind, but I've been told since then that I've got the aptitude for it and all. I've got near OCD qualities when it comes to making things look pretty and layout and all so, yeah...
