((Come one, Come all, this is an open rp so jump right on in and have fun))  It was a crystal clear day the was just beginning. A large blue male with white dots and swirls stepped out of a cave which is where he spent the night.  From behind him came a young Enyalie. He wasn't that old but her could talk well enough thats to his friend Blizzard, the blue and white Telpareon. Hare had found him as a bell when he was a rina, and thats to the friend ship they made, Hare was able to serve the cold of the mountains. Even if it was just the base of it.

Liori and Cinnabar travelled through the snow together, not quite sure where to go, but driven by hunger. Liori kept getting distracted by the glowing lights around his body and would occasionally start to chase them in a circle until Cinnabar walked up and coughed lightly in his direction. He would grin abashedly and smile at her, she would just giggle and shake her head. Cinnabar's fur glittered across the snow as they walked, making her red sparkles mingle with the snow's already reflective powder. The two found themselves awake near one another in the snow, under a tree, cold to the bone and barely able to communicate with one another. Through past rememberances and whispers in their minds, they learned to at least speak to one another in their own mix of words and body language. Neither really understood the concept that they were summoned by a bell, only that their earliest memories began with soft twinkling sounds and then awakening to find only each other. Cinnabar sniffed the air gently and nosed around in the snow on the ground, it was not as solid as where they came from, perhaps water was only a short distance away? "We go... still more." She nodded to him and used her paw to show him the journey still lay further ahead.

It was most definitely not the type of weather one looked forward too. A young rina, Solstice, mewed forlornly as she stumbled once again into a large snowdrift. Finding shelter was proving to be a daunting task. It was hampered by the fact that almost everything looked the same.
Pushing herself to her feet again Solstice glanced around cautiously before settling underneath a large tree. The branches had grown closely together shading the ground beneath and preventing snow from falling. As she huddled close to the tree's trunk she swore she could hear voices on the wind. A small blast blew past her causing a involuntary shiver to wrack her young body. Another forlorn sound drifted away from her as she closed her eyes to seek warmth in her dreams.

With out a word the adult male walked away from the little one know her would follow in time. Blizzard needed food and he was going to get it. He walked along a snowy trail of paw prints that where made by him and Hare when they came this way yesterday. He remember where that last berry bush was, after he takes his fill today it would be bare.
Hare ran about in the snow. It was still so wonderful to him. He noticed though that his friend was going walking away with out him. "Oi!....wait!" He yelled to the blue mass. He took off after him as fast as his little legs could go.

It was a shift in the weather that brought Solstice from the sleep that she had been needing. Sunshine leaked in through the branches that concealed her form and she shivered briefly before stepping out of the protection the tree had given her.
The sun's rays shone down on her small form and although they seemed weakened they filled Solstice's young body with a warmth she had missed since she began her trek. From a distance her pelt shone vibrantly in hues of blue and purple and she was glad at the moment. Darker colors would keep her warmer during days like these.
Knowing that she had to find sustenance Solstice moved forward - one paw being placed gingerly against the snow at a time as she felt her way across the frozen ground.

Cinnabar continued on and pushed Liori along with her, she was the singular force keeping them moving at the moment. She sniffed the air and it was becoming less arid as they continued in their current direction. Water must be in this direction, making the air just a touch less dry and biting to the nose. "Food close... maybe?"
Liori smiled softly at his friend and nodded. The snow was lessening at least in the light of day, but they were both hungry and tired. Perhaps today would be the day they found something of use?
He sniffed the air as Cinnabar had and nodded, confirming what she felt. "I think... too."

(( -yawns- ... okay ... Solstice sort of grew during this rp ... so I'm writing her as an Enyalie now )) It was an odd sight indeed. A lone Enyalie nosed an oval sphere through the snow as she trudged onward. Solstice glanced down at the object she was pushing and gave a small sigh of frustration as it chittered away it's unhappiness at the treatment it was being given.
Having grown out of her younger phase she'd taken to exploring more territory and had found this egg creature. At first the enyalie had merely pawed at the object in fascination but as the day progressed she'd come to partly understand the "egg's" wishes. She'd taken it with her as a result. Now she nosed it to a stop by a bush and began to n** off a few of the leaves that still looked healthy to consume. Dropping a few down beside the egg she watched in silence before munching on the other leaves.

As they neared a more southern portion of the mountain peak, Cinnabar noticed that the trees weren't as barren as where they came from and she smiled, knowing she had done something right. In the distance she saw a rather leafy bush, leafy compared to what she was use to seeing, and another like themselves nearby. She nudged Liori with her nose to look out over the snowfallen land. "More?"
Liori craned his head up to see what she was looking at. A blue taestysia like themselves was eating the leaves off the bush. He motioned for his friend to follow him as he slinked towards the newcomer. He tried his best to stay out of sight, but the lights about him twinkled gently of their own accord.

Solstice had not really noticed the pair of Enyalies approaching as she was involved in plucking the best leaves from the bush now. That all changed with a loud squeak emanated from the egg. Her gaze shot down to it in alarm before her gaze caught on ... lights?
Crouching down over the egg in a protective stance Solstice flicked her tail back and forth in a silent warning before hissing softly. The two that appeared to be like her were caught in her narrow gaze as she spoke.
"Stay 'way. My egg."
Perhaps if she were to get reassurance that they wouldn't go after the egg she'd become less hostile. As she moved access to the bush opened up.

Following behind Liori closely, she crept quietly until they were spotted. Cinnabar looked on the enyalie's stance and listened to her words. Looking down to the "egg", she figured that that was the "egg".
Cinnabar looked to Liori with an unsure look on her face and pointed to the round object in the other's protection, "Egg."
Liori understood what Cinnabar meant and walked over to stand in front of Cinnabar protectively, "Who you?" He leaned down carefully and sniffed the air around the enyalie and the egg, "Egg eat?" He didn't quite understand why the other would protect an inanimate object unless it was for survival. One thing he had learned on their long trek was that anything needed to survive was precious.

Wynter had been snoozing quite happily in a tree. She stayed warm in cold weather easily enough. She enjoyed laying on top of this boulder. It had become a frequented spot by her. Though, usually it was more quieter. In fact, she had thusly not seen another by here, so it would make sense that she was unsettled to overhear so much commotion.
She got up on all fours and walked to the edge and looked down. There at the foot and off a bit were a few of her kind. An egg? She espied and noticed an eye looking out of it. She crept back a step thinking something was wrong with it. None of the bird eggs she had ever eaten had eyes popping out. Then, she had an idea.. though they might have to wait a while.. It would only be a few more hours till it was good for ice fishing. She decided to leap down. Of course, it may have been hard to notice her.. as her pelt made her blend into where she had been laying...

The egg squeaked in alarm as it overheard the other two Taestysias discussing if it could be eaten. It had been just fine with the one who seemed to understand. Life was simple - if not a little dizzy from being rolled around all the time.
Solstice's tail lashed her side a little more quickly as the brightly lit one sniffed at her and her egg. She hissed in agitation before taking a drastic swipe at the enyalie. Her claws were sheathed but it would still smart to get a tap across the nose.
"Egg not for food. Egg is my friend."
Gently she moved back and placed a paw on the egg's surface and rolled it to show the two the crack. If they looked carefully they would see the eye roving back and forth.

Cinnabar's ears flicked in consternation as the hairs on her neck stood up, sensing something else was happening but didn't hear or see anything amiss. She looked at the eye within the egg and gasped, "Why egg have eye?" She'd never seen anything like it before in her life.
Liori shook his head as he was batted away and took a step backwards. His eyes narrowed at the other taestysia whom he believed to just be very mean at that moment, but as she turned the egg, he understood why. He looked up to Cinnabar as she asked her question and nodded, wondering the exact same thing. "We are new. Not see much like that."

She sat on the ground behind them all, the evening darkness hiding her, except for hte what looked like a glowing moon on her side. "Well, how about Ice Fishing? There is a nearby lake... I'm sure fresh caught fish would taste better than an egg with an eye popping out... I wouldn't trust to eating eggs with eyes. Never eat anything that can stare you down while you do it..."
She waited there to see if anyone was interested. She tried it recently herself. It did make her a tad chilly; but it was a great meal.

Cinnabar jumped at the sound of the others' voice and took a step sideways away from both newcomers. "Who are you?" She was confused and careful, trying to figure out how the other had snuck up on them.
Liori turned towards the voice, jumping in his skin just a bit. He listened to the newcomer before speaking, "Yes, inside makes noise." He pointed to his stomach and Cinnabar's. "What is fishing?"
