Has your love for Zutara changed? I don't necessarily mean changed as in strengthened or wavered. More like what you love about Zutara changing.

Mine has. At first, I only liked Zutara because a)It was an escape from all the Kataang in the series, which has never sat well with me for some reason, and b)It had that nice allure of opposites attract.
However, as time passed and I saw more of the show, I began to like the paring for different reasons. The dynamic, the possibilities, the conflict, etc. It's just such an interesting idea, I can't help but love it.
Now, I think the main reason I like Zutara so much is the possibilities and all the development and change it would cause. They would change each other and the people around them, and I just love that whole idea.

If my love has changed its gotten stronger. I first considered the couple when zuko got hair >< sorry guys. I know truly love it that zuko has gone good and made the couple very possible.

I remember the first time I saw Zuko and Katara in the same place, I was like… those two… should totally hook up!! I saw a lot of possibilities back then and as the series went on I just like the pairing more and more. I have always loved love/hate type relationships they just have so much heat and passion. As far as why I liked Zutara in the beginning it has not changed much but I do grow more attached to the idea of them as a couple the more I watch the show.

At first, I liked Zutara because it was kinda cool, and they look good together. It was just an escape for me from the RonxHermione/HarryxGinny in HBP. I liked the pairing more and more after reading 'A Kiss is Just a Kiss' by justafan245. I read more fics and saw more fanart. When I saw CoD last May, I was blown away. I LOVED Zutara before that, and when Aang said he liked Katara in 'The Guru', I thre a pillow at the Tv. The day I saw CoD, I went to my cousin's house after. We made mango shake and when I was about to put some milk (or was it sugar?) in the cup, I dropped it and the glass hit my foot. It was just a minor injury, but I decided to go home anyway (to catch the CoD) replay. I told everyone I dropped the glass because of an accident, but truth is, ZUTARA DID IT! --> points to zuzu and katara.
Anyway, Zutara went from a small escape idea, to a possible ship, to my absolute LOVE!

I didn't hate it or loved it when the show started but over time I become more aware of the appeal. As time passed by, I grew to love the pairing. I have really enjoyed this pairing more so and hope that this pairing comes out on top. If it doesn't I can always make a fanfiction. wink
|

It's so great to hear how everyone's feelings for Zutara have changed and grown stronger. ^.^ Hopefully it'll keep growing as the series progresses.

My love for Zutara has changed. At first, I liked it the first episode since everyone around was all into Katara and Aang, so I got sick of it and announced that Zuko and Katara would be the best couple. Since then, my love for it grew. Back in the day I liked it since it was a little more random, but now I love all the hints and symbolism. I love all the analizing and hope we Zutarians have, and I hope we continue on this strong as we are now. I'm huge into opposites attracting, and no couple is quite as interesting as this one.

i guess my love for zutara has changed. at first i read 'Til Death do us part' by Vicki So- it's a really good story, and really funny- and i thought that zuko and katara being together was cute. i guess i read more fanfics about them and still liked them.
i think more towards the second season I really really liked them together, like it could definetly happen sort of way.
its weird now thinking about though...

My opinion has indeed changed :/
but mostly because of the recent episodes. (I won't post spoilers here, don't worry)
A friend of mine, actually made me realise that Katara has not matured at all, through out the entire series. She used to be a bit bitchy and hard to deal with, but as the series went on, she remained that way. Aang changed a lot, he used to be a goofy kid, who didn't take his role as Avatar seriously, and then when he finally realised what is at stake, he changed tremendously. Sokka changed, he used to be goofy the whole time, but I guess the death of Yue changed him a lot.
Toph was pretty mature already, but when she admitted that she was sorry for what she had done to her parents, she matured.
I don't think I need to start on Zuko....
but anyway, I think I got my point across?
I hope that something happens in the upcoming episodes that will make Katara change for the better =D

If she can't understand him, then he can't understand her so they'd probley end up talking to eachother and figuring out what the other person is really like. Maybe once they get past that boundry, Katara may start to become a little more out going.

Yeah, I think the whole thing with Zuko is going to be something that greatly affects her. because right now, she's stubborn in the belief that he can't change and that he hasn't changed, but sooner or later(hopefully sooner) she's going to realize that she was wrong, and it takes a lot of a person to own up and admit something like that. Thus, we have some Katara development.
I think part of it may be that she's shut down, because one of her big problems is trusting people. it's come up a few times, first with Jet and their first encounter, then with Jet and their second encounter...In which she only realized he was legit when it was too late(right? it's been a while since I've seen that one) and I'm thinking that the incident with Jet at Lake Laogai kind of affected her later on when she and Zuko met in the caves. Maybe then she was trying harder to see his side after he came and apologized to her, maybe Jet affected her in the way that she wanted to believe Zuko, before it was too late, you know? She wanted to give him the chance without him having to die to prove it like Jet did...But in the end, we all know where that went. And then there is Hamma who taught her and forced her to use something that she never wanted.
So I think once Zuko's proven himself, and she feels she can put her complete trust in him as a friend, then we'll see a little bit more Katara progress. Because that is her biggest problem, trusting people and being betrayed.
She may be difficult to deal with , but then, that is still part of her personality. She has a strong character, and that does sometimes come out in more negative ways at times. It does kind of make her more human at the same time, though. which is probably why I love her.
But yeah, Zuko is probably going to change her! admitting that she was wrong and just finally seeing Zuko as he is, progressed as much as he is, will soften her up a bit. She'll still have a strong character and personality, but it will be a humbling experience.
