Black head wings flattened back against an equally dark scaled head, curled hooked snout turned up with peaked curiosity, accompanied by a soft hiss.
Ansel, while highly curious was just as much cautious, he had never smelled blood before and was intrigued by its sickening aroma. Rather then venture for much further however, the back Digi chirped in apprehension, and hopped down from the branch he had perched himself on, earning himself a glance from his care taker as he landed with a soft crunch in the snow next to the gleaming Coffee.
Heritage could read his Digi surprisingly well, and knew that there would be something interesting waiting up ahead. Pausing his progress though the snow, letting the streaming ribbons settle down around him again. He lifted his ears up, and fanned them forward.
"I smell it to" he said in Response to his Digi once again nosing the air.
It was a thick and sick smell, blood and bad heath. Yet Heritage could not help but draw in a few more breaths of it, his coffee blood getting a rather disturbing attraction to it.
“Go find it” he said softly to his Digi.
Giving Heritage a piercing stare, before his head lowered and he streaked off like a haunting shadow, slipping out of sight before Heritage could speak another word.

Maneuvering though the swamp was almost natural for a Digi-coffee, they were built to be able to make there way though the stick environment with swiftness and ease. It also helped that Ansel was especially fast.
Streaking into the nearest bush when he heard the sound of light talking. Long neck crouched low to the ground as he peered curiously though the leaves. What he saw was unexpected in the least, it was not very often one saw a Candy in the Swamp, let alone a MLP and what looked like her Fluffy.
He could tell there was something wrong. From the looks of it the MLP was in a very sad state of health, and the fluffy was hardly in good shape either.
Hissing softly he slid forward to get a better look, his halo slipping back over his head as his head wings folded themselves up again, his eyes, the only color on his body where wide and still.
Slipping out again and jumping up to the mouth of the cave, crouching low and stiff, just staring.

the creature was completely black, other then a glowing gold halo that was the most obvious give away of its location. it imply looked like a shadow with two bright green/yellow eorbs plastered on a black face.
Ansel did not speak as he was discovered, either by choice or by inability, but he did let out a soft Hiss when he was called to, tail flicking behind his as he bowed his head even further, staring intently, but looking ready to bolt at any moment. he was never one to get into a fight, despite the swamps residence were more commonly like, most could almost call him a coward for how easy it is to make the Black digi flee.
while his strong curiosity was keeping him from fleeing at the moment, and the knowledge that his care taker was following behind, he continued to Hiss, and cautiously watch the fluffy, eyes darting towards the Female MLP every now and then.

Ansel responded with a sharp hiss of his own, his apprehension becoming too much. With out warning he bolted, the Fluffy seemed to be potentially hostile, something that took the black Digi by surprise, Fluffy and Candy were often very passive, but he did not want to stick around alone to find out if he was wrong of now.

Heritage was not far behind his Digi, so it did not take Ansel very long at all before he caught back up with him, letting out an uneasy hiss and darting behind his glowing care taker.
”Ansel?” Hertiage asked softly, looking down at his Digi curiously. It was quite obvious that his Digi had found something.
Ears fanning forward at he watched the black creature chirp deeply and stare off at the aria he had just fled from.
Heritage was rarely worried about fear, and he was intent on finding the source of the smell, and what could cause his Digi to flee like that.
Continuing on, eyes glowing steadily brighter as he saw the came. Blinking slowly as Ansel darted forward again. Perching himself back at the mouth of the cave, bowing his head low and shrieking in at the Fluffy as if to say “Just Try it not! I have back up!”
Knowing that Heritage was walking up behind him, and into view.
The ribbon swirling around his body worked to smooth his fur back into perfection as a chill ran down his spine at what he saw. Lips parting in elegant surprise, sad eyes widening as they glowed even brighter.

Heritage did not even look as if he heard the Fluffy, his expression still on the MLP, having never seen something in such disturbing shape... well... someone that was alive anyway. Remembering to close his mouth the angelic Coffee shifted his weight uneasily to the side, the transparent ribbons swaying over his body as he moved

Ansel however reacted quite animatedly, lowering his head to shriek back at the Fluffy before he dove behind Heritage, this movement seemed to snap Heritage into awareness of the fluffy. His dark, sorrowful gleaming eyes suddenly watering, though his demeanor did not change, the only sign of crying, where the streams of tears soaking into his white cheeks.
"If you don't want her harmed then why are you in the swamp?" he asked in a soft emotionally tired voice.
He knows what Equis would have done, Herigate was still uncertain as to where he stood in that sense. He knew loved the Swamp, and like many Coffee preferred solitude, he greatly disliked Candy land, but he knew, and enjoyed some of its inhabitance.
"There are allot here that would slaughter her kind with out a moments hesitation if you are unaware of that." he inform the Fluffy, reaching a claw up to gently brush at the tears under his eyes, as if just now becoming aware of them "and make short work of you as well"

Heritage accepted that there was more to this story then what appeared, his first thought was to questions the reason a MLP and a Fluffy where IN the swamp in the first place, only to have that questions shoved from his mind as he looked over the disgraceful state the two were in.
it was a habit of his to make sure everything was as beautiful as possible, and this was certainly one of the more grim sights he had ever witnessed... aside from his father...
"the Swamp Side Cafe is not far from here. it rests on the boarder, its the closest place that has Sugar that i can think of" he informed the Fluffy quietly.

"its on the border" he repeated, shifting into the cave a bit further as he talked. each step as gentle and elegant as the next, but not progressing to much farther since he was not blind to the Fluffy's distrust and uneasiness. it was dificult for Heritage to ignore the degrading state they were both in, it needed to be fixed, for beauties sake.
"its the only place in candy land that both Coffee and Candy are welcome, though it is more popular for Coffee, conflict is forbidden there."
lowers his head slightly glancing back at the Digi who was sticking firmly behind his care taker.
"I'm a resident there, so you will not be charged if you are willing to accept my assistance? I can get you're friend some medical attention, I know a numa who can help with that... and get you cleaned up" that was of cource the most important part.

Heritage turned his head to the side, bright blue eyes framed in black staring with perpetual sadness back at the Fluffy as he introduced himself and his companion.
He started at the two for a moment, there progress was slow going because of her weakened state, Heritage had to admit that he was amazed that she was still able to start at all, though from the looks of her… she was unaware of anything that was happening.
He considered for a moment, going over and helping her along, but that would involve touching her… the thought alone of the dried blood over her fur and armor… and the sickness she carried made a shiver jerk though his spine, making it impossible for him to even will himself to assist any further then leading them the way.

He was glad that he had names to call them, their introduction creating a formality over the early hostile tension. Bowing his head softly, his ears slipping back in respect.
”My name is Heritage.” He said “and that is Ansel” turning to the Digi who had streaked up ahead, pausing every now and then before he got to far, and staring back at the small party, still distrusting of the Fluffy.
