I broke my first set the end of my 11th grade marching season! =o I was so proud!

weell i play bass drum so its pretty hard to break those metal mallots xD but my section leader has! While we were playing a new cadence sum 1 broke a pair it was hilarious! i think so far this year thesnare sectionj has broken 6 pairs! lol

im a sophomore snare... ive broken 37 pair since freshman year... but ive also broken 9 snare heads also

THe only sticks that have been broken that I know of were thrown at my best friend and broken over his head by the director.

Cherie-J weell i play bass drum so its pretty hard to break those metal mallots xD but my section leader has! While we were playing a new cadence sum 1 broke a pair it was hilarious! i think so far this year thesnare sectionj has broken 6 pairs! lol bas mallets are easy to break i have broken 27 bass mallets in 4 years and the metal rim clicker we got for me my senior year, ive also gone through like 8 bass rims

heh... 1 drumstick 2 mallets and someone was stupid and put a mallet in a hole in the ground to mark where it was so they wouldnt get hurt marching... and a kid stepped on it.. it snapped.

ure not sposed to put ay sticks or mallets on the ground, it actually causes mallet heads to warp ground, and the dirty on the stick tips ruins heads

I've broken so many sticks/mallets I honestly don't remember...I even broke a mallet over the bassdrum section leaders' head...I don't think he appreciated that very much...

i have broken one bass drum mallet, because it was the wooden ones and our show that year had a lot of rim clicks in it.

I have broken about 3 different snare drum sticks, 4 malletts ,and 2 different timpany stiks!
AND I AM ONLY IN THE 8TH GRADE!
Are band is so small we have to add the 8 th graders too!

I've played since 6th grade in middle school and up to 10th grade high now I play for a small jazz gig as well as high school. I played everything in percussion that there is to play from bass drum to the cow bells. Broken 10 heads in middle school 3 in high, broken 2 bass drum mallot, as for the drum sticks 39 pairs. Yeah I play hard heh!
