Andy is the daughter of a CEO of another company. She isn’t impressed by money or arrogance or Kaiba.
Seto needs to make a partnership with this company.
Andy’s father is a very respected and generous man, the opposite of Kaiba almost. So he wont make a partner with someone like Kaiba. Kaiba needs to make himself look more caring. So the two make a deal. The father says that if Seto can win his daughter over then he would make the partnership.
Sam and Yami/Atem. Sam is still Seto's sister and is a great duelist. She kind of fills Seto's spot as his rival

Also, where do we start? ))

(( Nah, I can go ahead and start it. =)
Oh, and I thought we'll start Sam and Atem out in a tournament, Atem just won his last duel and now they need to duel each other tomorrow morning. That's all I could think of right now =);; I can change it later if you don't like it. ))
... After patenting his own design of virtual reality goggles, Mr. Keith Roberts, the CEO of Evolution Technologies, has been a huge manufacturer to video games, theaters, and even medicine. And he's not just known for his products either, Keith Roberts also frequently donates millions to charitable causes, giving him a lot of generous popularity amongst the world population- CLICK
With a soft, aggravated sigh, Andreana Roberts situated herself back against the couch after turning the TV off with a roll of her eyes at the words that spoke across the screen. Keith Roberts was no one but an ordinary man, yet whenever he would just donate or come out with a new product, out come the journalist and cameras, flashing and talking about him like as if he just cured cancer or saved a a large population in India from starvation. Andy knew this because Keith Roberts was none other than her father, who strictly enforced schooling on her and punished her if she didn't finish her vegetables. Yes, to the world, Keith Roberts was practically a celebrity with the amount of publicity he got, but to hger, Keith Roberts was none other than her dad. Which mnade it even more annoying to her when she'll hear the TV or radio talk about him. Sure, she was proud of her dad for doing good things and being intelligent enough to run and build a huge corporation from scratch, and not to mention loved him to death, but to her, he still seemed like an ordinary dad who just wanted her to succeed more than he has.
"Andy baby, did you see the new report on your father on the television?" Her mother, Patricia, spoke proudly from the door, leaning in just slightly to view the back of Andy's head with a smile on her face.
"Yes, mom..." Andy spoke, hiding the annoyance in her voice as she spoke blankly, rolling her eyes as she did so as her mother thankfully could not see her face.
"Isn't it wonderful? That new microphone he just invented is really taking off, look at the amount of publicity he is getting now!"
"Hm," Andy nodded, choosing to ignore her mother right now as she bore her head back inside the book laying open on her lap, her fingers curled around a pen to her side and hastily taking notes from it.
"Yes, well, when your done please come down for dinner sweetie..." Her mother spoke softly before turning back around and walking away. Andy took one glance over her shoulder to make sure she was gone before turning back to her book. Yea, dinner, like she'll have time for that tonight with the amount of homework she had, especially if her mother kept bothering her like this.
"And the winner of this duel is... Yugi Motou!"
The loudspeaker rang loudly over the crowd in the large outdoor auditorium, a cry of cheers and whistles being heard from the stands as soon as Mr. Motou's name was called. The popularity of the winner was easily detected, not a single person opposed this remark, in fact, most seem to have even expected this to happen. Which is not a surprise, as Yugi Motou was the number one top duelist in the world, whose losses equal only five out of the hundreds of games he's played. His deck, composed with the three Gods, was virtually unbeatable, and everyone knew this, those who believe that they even stand a chance against his combination of the God cards was only speaking through their arrogant confidence. Which was exactly what his opponent thought, Weevil Underworld, who was now through a tantrum in the middle of the field, though no one still payed attention to the small youth.
Standing tall and proud, Yugi Motou kept one hand placed in his pocket while the other hand was curled around his deck, secured in his hand. Or at least, everyone thought that it was only Yugi Motou, the boy who was famous in the Dueling Monsters community. No one would suspect the ancient spirit that actually inhabited his body, Atem, the old prince of Egypt, who would often play little Yugi's duels for him. All it took was a little switch, and Atem was the puppeteer of Yugi's body now, and Yugi did not mind either, the two had a strong bond that no one could ever question.
Pharaoh! Did we do it? Atem heard Yugi cry from the depth's of his mind.
"Hm, what do you think?" Atem replied with a smirk on his face, just as the referee walked over to him to give him detail's about his next and last duel in this tournament.
"Tomorrow at ten o'clock report in the office so we can brief you, your next duel start's at 10:30 sharp, your opponent is Samantha Kaiba."
"Samantha?" Atem questioned, taking a step back from the referee in shock at hearing that name.
"Yes? Is there a problem?" The refree cocked his eyebrow at Atem in confusion.
If there was one person that was close to defeating him at his own game, it was Samantha Kaiba, Seto Kaiba's own sister. Before her, his strong rival use to be Seto, that was until Samantha showed up, since then she has been his strongest rival yet. He had to admit, he loved the challenge, but he knew very well he was at risk of loosing his title easily. "U/m, no.. there's no problem. Just... wasn't expecting to see her."
"Well, then report here at 10:00, I'll be briefing you then." And wiuth that, the refree turned and walked away, leaving Atem by himself and alonbe in his thoughts.

Seto sat in his office behind his desk. He wore a white suit and a blue tie that was hung loosely over his shoulders for now. He filed some paperwork and put it in his suitcase to get ready for his meeting. He glanced at the tv, seeing the news about the man he was about to meet and discuss a partnership with. He was well know and would help Kaiba Corp grow even more popular. Seto was the CEO of Kaiba Corp, the most popular gaming company in Japan. He was known for his intellagence, good looks, and dueling skills. Between his supporters and Mr. Roberts, theier companies would become the most popular in the world.
Seto never gave to charity. he was far too selfish. Mokuba wanted him to give money to some orphanages but he refused. He had no doubts that he would get the partnership without much of a hassle. He had other companies jumping at his feet to be involved with kaiba corp so this should be easy or so he thought.
"Mr. Kaiba your meeting is about the begin and the guests have arrived. I sent them to the meeting room." His secretarty spoke over his intercome.
"I'll be right there." Seto spoke back into it. He closed his brief case, fixed his tie and headed out of his office and into the meeting rooma few floors down.
Sam walked down a hall in the large stadium building. She had won her duel a little while ago and was waiting to hear who her opponent would be for the final round. she stopped at a vending machine and got a soda. She opened the can and began drinking as she continued down the hall.
She wore a black tanktop, jeans, black boots, and a tight sleeveless black trench coat.
Soon her little brother appeared, looking around further down the hall. It seemed that he was looking for her. When he finally spotted her he smiled and ran over. "Sam! i cant believe you just missed the last duel! Did you hear who won?! Youre going to be dueling Yugi!" He said excitedly as if it was a good thing.
Sam gripped the can so hard she crushed it together. She closed her eyes for a moment and calmed down. No matter ow close she ever got to beating Yugi she never won. And she always came so close. "Hmph watever. I'll win no matter who it is..." She said confidently, throwing the can away.

(( Hm, I'm not going to bother with Andy for now, just deal with her father, as she really has nothing to do until after the meeting is over. =) ))
Inside the meeting room, a huge, black leather case sat neatly on top of a large, round table as if it was carefully put on top of it with much procession. The owner of this case sat directly in front of it in a dark leather chair, his hands and arms resting on the hand resting relaxingly as if he has already done this many times before. Tall and dark, Keith Roberts can be considered a handsome man, now in his late forties, he looked as though he was quite athletic in his youth, with a sharp gray suit pinning him as the business type. His face though showed some compassion despite it's hard frame, you could tell that he was a business man, yet a caring man too. However, right now he looked as though he knew exactly what he was going to say and had practiced it a thousand times, that he wasn't going to back down from his answer. His mind was made up.
Reaching forward, Mr. Roberts hand reached gracefully for a cup of water that sat in the middle of the table, taking a large gulp then sighing boredly. How much longer did he have to wait just to tell this kid no? He respect Kaiba greatly for what he had to go through and yet still made one of the biggest and wildly known companies in the world that not even he can compete with. However, it was no secret that Kaiba was an a**, he had not done a single thing in his life to help the world rather than himself or his company, probably hasn't even thought about it either. Keith might be a CEO of a huge corporation much like Kaiba, but his heart was in the right place, and Kaiba's wasn't. He wasn't going to partner up with someone like that.
Ignoring the cheers and cries for him, Atem instead walked alone down a hall to his assigned room. Usually after a win he would sign some autograph's for a lot of his younger fans. He never considered himself a celebrity or popular, but he did know a lot of kids looked up to him, and if all it took was a signature to make their day, who was Atem to deny that? But this time, he didn't want to bother, his mind was caught somewhere else, and what it was caught on was Samantha Kaiba. He wasn't ignorant or stupid, he knew Samantha had come extremely close several times to defeating him. So far, all it was was extreme luck and faith on his part that kept him from loosing to her in the past, he knew that very well. But it always stayed in his mind, would next time be different? This was the first opponent he had which made him question himself if he was actually good enough.
Right now, he had a lot of work to do, he needed to upgrade his deck, think of more strategies, and just about anything that could help him for tomorrow morning. He played Samantha enough times to have an idea of how she played and what was in her deck, but it was always the possibility that she has a new deck for him, or new strategies, which was usually the case. He needed to prepare himself for anything that could happen tomorrow, he needed to be ready and confident for the duel tomorrow morning.
Head focused downward at the carpet, Atem twirled his key card in his hand idly as he walked slowly down the hallway. For this tournament, they gave all the competitors their own rooms, because they knew this tournament can last for more than one day. So far, this was the third day of the tournament, so good thing they did give him his own room, which he was now itching to get to and get started. However, lost in his thoughts, Atem walked right past his door unthinkably, still twirling his key card in his hand as he rounded a couple of corners, blinded by his thoughts. That was, until he walked right in to someone.
(( Ehhh, not that good, I know, but I'm really tired right now XP goodnight! ))

((sorry i was busy and at my dad's and his computer doesnt work well))
Seto didnt worry about making the old man wait. He could care less about doing anything to please someone else. He figured Mr. Roberts wanted desperately to accept his offer so he was not worried or in any kind of rush. In his mind, Seto Kaiba was the most important person there was, so he was honoring Mr. Roberts by proposing the deal himself instead of sending a worker and not wasting his time. He opened the door after putting on a fake smile as he always did. He couldnt remember the last time he actually smiled a real, joyfull smile. He didnt even smile that much when they found Sam. "hello Mr. Roberts. I'm glad you could take time out of your busy schedual to come see me..." He said, acting sincere. It usually worked right away with the other businessmen. People assume businessmen are all cons and coy, but Seto Kaiba was better then that. He was so good at conning people. He was the slyest of them all. But something felt different this time, this man was different. That didnt stop Seto. "Well I'll get right to the point, I'm sure like myself you have other things to do." He said and placed his briefcase down on the table. He spun it around and opened it in a flashy fasion. Inside was some rating data tables, sales reports, income reports, diagrams of their latest products. "As you can see, Kaiba Corp is above and beyond any other gaming corporation in the world. We come out with the best products years before any other company does." He said, crossing his arms and smirking arrogantly. "With our companies combined we'll run every other gaming company out of business. Not to say that I need your company to do so, it would help. My company is the one that will give us the most succuss though. Youre lucky I'm offering you such a generous deal...." he finished.
sam continued walking, grumbling to herself about the bad news. She took her deck out of her jacket pocket and began looking through it. "I used this deck last time against him. And it was absolutely useless!" She hissed. "These cards are weak... I do everything right! My strategies are perfect! But no matter what I do he always finds a way to beat m-!" She was cut off when she walked right into someone. She fell back after losing her footing, holding onto her deck tightly. She may curse at her deck because she lost but she still wouldnt give up on it. She just had to improve it. It was just easier for her to blame the deck instead of admitting that it was her own fault that she didnt win.
"Sam you ok?" Mokuba asked, only to be ignored.
She glared at the person, soon realizing it was the boy she was just loathing outloud. "Yugi?!" She growled and stood up, brushing off her clothes. "Watch where youre going you fool..." She growled. She placed a hand on her hip and put her deck back in her pocket. "So, you just finished your duel huh? I finished mine a while ago, what took you so long?" She teased with a snicker.

As the door finally opened, revealing the tall and sharp looking young millionaire, Mr. Roberts head shot up from his drinking glass. It didn't surprise him that the young man had a confident smile on his face, like as if he already this deal done. If only Kaiba knew what he had in store for him. Mr. Roberts was very passionate about his work and also making sure you make good use of yourself and help those in need. Kaiba didn't value any of those, he never gave, and though his company was more successful, it didn't feel like he put a heart in it. And he was going to make a deal with Kaiba? It was never going to happen as far as he could see.
Clearing his throat, Mr. Roberts had to close his eyes for a second to gather his thoughts and to calm himself down. the way this kid came at him so fast, and so overly confident, that was what he couldn't stand and it only showed him a perfect example as to why he couldn't partner with this man. He didn't care if he was going to make more money out of this, he worked to hard on his own company to loose this. Looking back up at Kaiba, Mr. Roberts put on a serious and distinguished look on his face as he stood up from his seat. "Mr. Kaiba, I have already thought and came up with an answer on this, erm, little suggestion, so I'm just going to give you a flat answer and spare our time. As successful as your company is, the answer is doubtfully no."
Falling backwards, Atem threw his elbows back to comfort his fall just in time before slamming down on the hard cement floor. Groaning and feeling dizzy from the fall, Atem shook his head a couple of times as he forced himself to sit back up. Feeling himself finally fall back to Earth, Atem placed a hand on his head to brace himself for opening his eyes. Which as soon as he did, he heard the one voice that told him exactly who he bumped in to, and that she wasn't too happy about it either. Spinning his head around to look for her, Atem's eyes finally landed on Samantha Kaiba. The one person he definately did not want to bump in to at the moment.
Shaking his head in disapproval as she called him a fool, Atem ignored her purposely as he steadied himself as he stood up. Every time he saw her she was like this towards him, one of the main reasons behind the fact that they were such big rivals. It seems that even though they did not grow up with each other, Samantha still turned out to be just like Kaiba through and through. The same attitude, rudeness, and intelligence, Samantha Kaiba was no doubt his sister, it made him wonder why Mokuba was such a nice kid and not like his siblings. But he did have to hand it to her, she was very good at Duel Monsters, not just very good, exceptional. Never before had he come so close to defeat, Kaiba had come close a few times, but never like Samantha. She forced him to give her everything he had, which at times he thought wasn't going to be enough.
"For your information," Atem began after hearing her question, dusting his school jacket off before turning to look at her. "Time does not matter in Duel Monsters, it's how you play that matters. My opponent put up a good fight, but I had a precise plan from the start that would grant me victory." Atem said boldly, looking at her straight in the eye before turning his head to the side to look away. "Now, I have some business I need to take care of and some things I need to do, which doesn't involve you." Atem's harsh yet dignified words told that he wasn't going to put up with anything from her. This could have been easy, they could easilly be respectful rivals towards each other, but instead, they were reduced to inbsulkting each other, and Atem couldn't stand it. He didn't want to lower himself just because he felt that he needed to prove something, all he was going to do was duel her tomorrow, and win.

Seto eyes widened for a moment before narrowing. "What? You must be joking! Or just plain stupid!" He said angrily, uncrossing his arms and clenching his fists. Seto Kaiba was never rejected. He was the best. "Dont you know who I am? How powerfull my company is?! If you dont accept this offer I have no choice but to take your company down with the rest...." He threatened. No one rejected his offers. Just like Yugi's grandpa. Seto was very generous with his offer for the blue eyes white dragon. But Mr. Motou disrespected him and went against him by declining his offer. So Seto put him in the hospital, and if he had to he would do the same thing to this old senile fool. "You'd be wise to reconsider your decision right now..." he said.
Sam rolled her eyes when he gave a pathetic excuse for what took him so long to win. "The only thing that matters is winning." She said with arrogance in her tone, the typical Kaiba view. She felt the need to crush Yugi once and for all in duel monsters. But she could never get to that point. He always won. And that made her lose her temper multiple times and turn to hate for him. "I'm sure you do, because your life is so important..." She said thick with sarcasm. "I bet the only reason you can beat me and Seto is because you have no life and just sit around playing duel monsters all day. Well unlike you I actually have a life and far more important things to do." She said, giving herself and excuse for her losses.

"I think I already made the wise decision," was Mr. Roberts rebuttal, full of confidence that this was the right decision to make. It didn't even take him a second to think about it, if he signed up with Kaiba, it was for the wrong reasons. All he'll be was a sell out if he ever did that, and never in his life would he reduce himself to such arrogance. This was one decision that couldn't be changed no matter what, no was his answer and that was how it was going to stay. He was not afraid of Kaiba's threats, nothing Kaiba can do was worth turning over his company and getting in to a partnership with him.
"Kaiba," Mr. Roberts addressed him, pausing to rethink his words and sigh before looking back up at Kaiba seriously. "The only way you can change my answer is if you prove to me you can be a generous man, that you don't just care about yourself, that you can do something for someone else and not have it be for you. That is the only way I can change my answer, if you prove that to me. However, I feel that is unlikely."
"What I do with my time is none of your concern," Atem stated boldly, trying his hardest not to loose his temper around Samantha. That's only what she wants, a fight, and Atem wasn't going to get her the pleasure of meeting her wants. Atem knew he was better than petty insults, no matter how much he felt like rebutting her with the same kind of insult. It was all about control to him, which he was sure enough able to handle after countless times of seeing her. He didn't know why her insults made him this angry, wanted him to yell back this much, never before had he felt the need to do that. Was it because she would always come close to winning, or was it because she knew how to twist his nerve? Atem wasn't sure, but whatever it was, he needed to manage his anger around her.
Now, if you want to go ahead and do nothing about this battle between us, then go on ahead. I've always used the same deck against you, and I've won every single time. I can win again." Atem challenged her, turning away from her and shrugging as he took a couple of steps away from her, smirking in the process. It wasn't an insult, but he was sure that it was going to piss her off, and that was enough fun for him for now.

Seto didnt like this. He felt a bit threatened now by this man. Mr. Roberts acted as if he had something Seto didnt. So what was that misisng thing? Seto rolled his eyes when he heard the word generous. "Its not hard to be generous. I can easily throw a few million into a charity. Will that satisfy you old man?" he said, losing the respect and just keeping an irritating tone. He sat down across from him, glaring at him. Seto felt like a fool. This had never happened before and if this guy wouldnt accept his offer then Seto would make sure he regretted it.
Listening to him speak really made Sam's blood boil. She just threw insults at him to try and make him mad but his insults were true and hit her hard without much effort. She tried to find new rare cards all the time to help her deck. It still had its basic layout but she had to change some parts. And she still lost. When she first saw his cards she thought he had an amature deck, that is until she kept losing. Before she dueled him she couldnt believe Seto had lost to such a 'loser'. Now she realized he had a lot of power but she wouldnt admit that. "Hmph." She huffed and turned on her heal, stomping away. "Lets go Mokuba." she growled.
"Oh right, bye Yugi!" Mokuba said with a wave before running after his sister.
