Class-A - Relatively young planet; habitable or near-habitable; may contain resources.
Class-B - Relatively young planet; habitable or near-habitable; confirmed to contain resources
Class-C - Relatively young planet; non-habitable
Class-D - Planetoid
Class-E - Small Earth-like planet; liquid core
Class-F - Small Earth-like planet; liquid/solid core
Class-G - Small Earth-like planet; solid core
Class-H - Harsh desert planet
Class-I - Gas giant; Larger than J, smaller than S & T
Class-J - Gas giant; i.e. Jupiter/Saturn
Class-K - Barren world, no life; candidates for terraforming
Class-L - Barely hospitable; primitive ecosystem
Class-M - Terrestrial; atmosphere comprised of nitrogen and oxygen; liquid water to sustain carbon based life; usually contain sentient life
Class-Mt - Terrestrial; atmosphere comprised of nitrogen and oxygen; liquid water to sustain carbon based life; usually contain sentient life; Has been terraformed
Class-N - Reducing environment; barren and rocky; high surface temperature
Class-O - Planet primarily encompassed in water
Class-P - Planet primarily encompassed in ice
Class-Q - Planet with constantly changing environment
Class-R - Rogue planetary body; no orbit
Class-S - Super gas giant; smaller than T, larger than I & J
Class-T - Ultra gas giant
Class-Y - Hostile environment; lethal to human life
