Battlefield...RANDOMIZER! >O
The screen towering above the stadiums' bleachers began to rotate clockwise to determine what field the pokemon would fight on. Anticipation began to build as the dial began to slow down...
Finally, it came to a complete stop.
The field of choice was....THE ROCK FIELD!
Tremors rippled forth from center-field as the basic floor shifted to a rock and dirt field, rock towers jutted forth from the ground to offer a place of escape or an attack advantage. The breeze from the stadium air conditioners stirred the loose sand on the field, this creates a mini sandstorm that could possibly blind those who were battling.

"Hello there~!" Luna said to the new trainer happily, her head perched on her hands as she sat ontop of a rock pillar with a very lax pose. She smiled. "Is this your first time here? You don't look very familiar..."
Luna was cut off by her raichu, ChuChu, popping from her shoulder and jumped onto the field below. "Rai rai!" She said, waving to the trainer and her pokemon.
"Anyways, let's have a good battle! I'm Luna, future elite four and champion. And this is my raichu, ChuChu!" The trainer declaired. ChuChu gave a "Chu!' of agreement.

Kira shifted nervously as she stood on one of the rock pillars. Nervously she played with her hair at the other trainer. "Yeah, this is my first time... I'm Kira Hiromi, by the way, and this is Katie, my Pachirisu." She sounded nervous and a bit anxious.
Katie sprung onto her shoulders, then climbed up onto her head. "PACHIRISUUUUUU!" She grinned, puffing her chest out as her name was mentioned. She was ready to fight. Seeing the Raichu waving, she eagerly waved back, nearly loosing her balance and falling of of Kira's head.
"Future Elite Four?" Grimacing at the title, she gave a weak smile; this did not bode well. "Yes, let us have a good battle."
Katie bounded down onto the field, fidgeting excitedly.

Taking a deep breath, Kira closed her eyes for a moment, clearing her head. She needed to have her wits about her if she was going to do well. Opening her eyes, she looked down at Katie, seeing her partner's confidence.
"Alright, Katie, let's get this party started! Open up with a Quick Attack!" She may have been knew at this, but she knew that both of these pokemon where electric.
Katie looked up at her trainer, feeling better to see that she had calmed down. "Pachi!" Grinning, she dashed at Chuchu, aiming her attack straight at the middle of the Raichu's body; namely the stomach.

"I see Katie understands! Battles are for fun Kira, so relax a little, ne?" Luna said, shooting the girl another grin. "ChuChu! Iron tail!"
ChuChu brought up the flat side of her tail just in time to ward off Katie and only take minor damage. "Nyaaaaa~!" She chimed. ChuChu even had the nerve to pull down one of her eyelids and stick out her tongue before pushing her tail down harder at Katie to knock the other pokemon over.

"KATIE! Roll out of the way, quickly!" Kira leaned forward, her heart rushing as she saw the Raichu's tail slam down. She let out a small sigh of relief to see that Katie had miraculously been unharmed.
Katie, having seen the tail coming at her, was more than happy to oblige when her trainer told her to roll to the side. Scrambling up on her feet again, she sneezed at a bit of dust.
"Shake it off Katie, you're doing wonderfully! Lets go for another Quick Attack!"
"Su!" Though she would have rathered a different move, Katie was more than happy to comply with the attack. Charging at Chuchu again, she made sure to keep an eye on her opponant's tail.

"Okay then~We're going on full offensive now!" She warned Kira half-playfully. "ChuChu! EMP!" Luna smiled. She doubted that Kira would understand her code with her pokemon. It was one of the fun things that she came up with between her team. Maybe she would come up with codes later. Oh wait. Focus on the battle. Right.
ChuChu grinned wider as the Pachirisu approached her again. Right before Katie made contact, ChuChu's fist started to glow wildly as she punched down on the ground. Rocks came flying upwards, surrounding both of them. It was a game of chance really, both the pokemon could get hit.
Oh wait. Wrong. Katie's attack connected. ChuChu allowed the force to knock her back from the oncoming rocks. The raichu observed the pachirisu carefully as she tried to regain her breath with a short rest.

Katie's eyes widened at the rockets flying at her, and after her attack, she did her best to avoid most of the Raichu's attack. Unfortunately, she was still hit by several of them. Haven been knocked to her side, she got up and shook her head, clearing it.
"Katie! Oh my gosh, are you alright? Can you keep going?" Kira called out, looking worriedly down to her partner.
Katie smiled and nodded. "Risu!" She then prepared herself for another attack.
"Let's go more powerful. Super Fang!"
Katie nodded and dashed at Chuchu again, opening her mouth to bite down hard on her opponent.

"Haha! Try biting this then!" Luna shouted at their opponents with a smirk. ChuChu was confrinted with situations concerning fangs too often. "Irontail!"
ChuChu immediately swung around her tail at the oncoming attack. Katie's fangs chomped on the metallic tail. ChuChu, thankfully, didn't take as much damage due to the hardening. "Chuuuuuuu...Raichu...!" ChuChu said, her equivalent of "Ewwww...rabies!"
But ChuChu wasted no time charging up electricity at her tail. She quickly sent around 10 thousand volts of it to her tail. And drool conducted electricity. Even if Katie was a fellow electric type, that damage to her internally would surely hurt.

Chuchu was fast, but Katie was faster. At the small change of electricity, the very start of the movement of the charge to Chuchu's tail, Katie let go of her toothy grip on the Raichu's tail and lept back.
"Good, Katie! Excelent!" Kira beemed down at her precious Parchirisu, thrilled with how well the two of them were doing. "Alright Katie, give that Raichu a shock to be remembered! Discharge!"
Katie let the electricity surge through her, and aimed it at the Raichu, letting her attack go at full power. "Pachiri....SU!"

Luna smiled as she noticed that Kira was starting to enjoy the battle. She focused her attention to the battle again. "Chuchu! Thunderpunch!" She shouted.
"CHU!" The raichu replied, already taking off right at the discharge attack with an outstretched fist. The electricity met with her fist, the cackling energy snaking around her arm and body. But she held on, only wincing a little at the overload of power.
ChuChu decended upon Katie, her fist outstretched. She was prepared to give Katie a godo bonk on the head...or tail...or whatever bodypart she could hit. ChuChu was determined to use Katie's own power against her.

Kira let out a small yelp as she watched the little, supercharged fist slam at her precious. "KATIE! Dodge it!" She yelled out, worried about her Pokemon.
Katie tried to dodge, but this time she was a little too slow, and the fist hit her in the side. Letting out a squeak at the blow mixed with the elextricity, she moved as far away as she could, shaking herself to try to rid herself of the feeling left behind.
"Thank goodness you're alright, Katie. Keep your distance and regain your feet, then use Spark!"
Katie nodded, and after a few minutes of hiding in the rocky outcrops, she lept out and attempted to surprise attack Chuchu, sending her Spark attack at the Raichu.

ChuChu was definately surprised by Katie's attack. Usually, there would be SOME kind of warning from her trainer, but since she was in the rock arena, the dust gave Katie cover from Luna's eyes and ChuChu's ears.
Of course, her surprise didn't mean that she wasn't going to retaliate! Clenching her teeth, ChuChu immediately swung her tail around to hit the Pachirisu. She knew acting without command was inproper, but this moment was an exception!
From above, Luna attempted to see into the dust cloud below. "Gah...this is what's annoying about the arena." She said, sighing. She shook her head to shake off the negative energy. Focus! Yes! Luna squinted at the cloud harder now, trying to make out the shapes of the pokemon
