Hi, I'm Rage. (Rasari)
I have yet to play Valkyrie profile, though after reading the fantastic game reviews online I definately intend too. I am, however, rather knowledgeable of Northern Mythology, history, religion and traditions.
I am a Heathen (Erilaz to be exact) For those unfamiliar with the term... It means I use the Runes in a religious fashion and worship the Northern pathos (Aesir and Vanir).
My patrons include three Valkyrie (The Nornir), Fenrir, Odhinn, Freya and Hela.

Well, I don't know if you'll like the game then because they take a lot of liberty from the mythology itself !
So maybe, you won't like that cause you seem to know a lot of things !
I hope that won't disturb you too much^^
By the way, as you seem to know mythology better than everybody here, you could help us not to make mistakes and to learn lots of things ?
If you want of course !

If you want of course ! It was obvious from the game reviews that the game was only lightly influenced by Northern mythology... But its just that, a game, and they meant no harm by their alterations. And it did get good reviews. I look forward to playing it.

I really enjoyed Valkyrie profile and played it in part wtih the intention of learning a little more mythology before I took Myth and Legend 101 at school. Although it seems the game strayes from real myth (as odd as that sectence sounds) I thought the game was amazing.
