So, two days ago my account was breached and my main character had all 700g took from him, aswell as all his lewts.
To add insult to injury they also took everything from my 25 alt, and sold all his gear, leaving him naked and goldless in the middle of Ashenvale.
Now, today, i've been banned for 3 days. For what? "Use of 3rd party programs".
I don't know if i should scream, or cry. gonk
Atleast my Main didnt have his gear took though... They respecced him to Marks though... :s

Oh man, that sucks. Im sorry to hear that, but at least they didnt delete you characters.

that blows, open a gm ticket, im sure that blizz can see which ip address the hacker had and ban his account or something... if they could be bothered of course, they're just lazy most of the time.
@club=even if your characters were deleted all you need to do is make a new one, open a gm ticket, and then they'll un-delete em for you, ma friend deleted his 70 druid once and that's what he did.

My cousins account was taken over by someone else once, so he reported it to Blizzard.
Two days later they returned all his items, even ones he didnt have, and all his gold.. more than he lost.
He was a happy camper.

Captain Muffdiver leaving him naked and goldless in the middle of Ashenvale. I thought that said "naked & godless". I've been there before. rofl (I'm only kidding, trying to cheer you up a bit.) Hopefully the GMs will be able to help you out. I'd suggest emailing them as well as opening a ticket. Good luck. <3

i got hacked a while back
i stopped playing wow a little after TBC game out and i was lvl 62
i tried to log on and couldnt about 2 months later so i called blizz and got my password reset
when i logged on i was lvl 67 had about 400 more gold
i didnt really lose any of my gear
just everything in my bank which sucked
but i got some free power leveling i guess razz

I once got a couple of epic lewtz in the mail from blizz cause my raid instance crashed.
They're quite generous about some things, just report it politely and clearly as quickly as you can, all your stuff should come back.
NOTE: Under any circumstances do not tell them how angry this makes you or how pissed off you are, never use negative words as it will illicit a negative response.

I wouldn't mention your feelings at all, personally. Just try & be as factual & to the point as possible. Include the date you last signed on both characters that they were normal & list all the items that are missing, if you remember them.

Just like Gaia 50% of the time its people you trusted and them taking advantage of you so may wanna check with youre friends or family..
Not saying that they did it but I have noticed that people do weird stuff like that.. dramallama
