Sire's guitar wails through HQ like a harmonica in an old-west train-station. The riffs are unfamiliar [as he's making them up as he goes along], and the songs are completely his own creation. Right now, however, there are no songs. This is merely him playing notes and chords, and trying to set a world record for Fa'e deafness. Not that his music's bad. Just loud.

Yin walked in the door, immediately clapping both paws against her head as she pinned her ears beneath them. The music wasn't bad, really... but her thoughts were having a hard time making themselves known as she tried to think over the racket. "SIRE?!?"

Sire grinned, and turned down the amp setup to tolerable levels.
"Heya Yin. S'up?"

One finger tucked itself inside her ear as she wiggled it, stretchign her jaw to make her eardrums pop slightly. "Better, now that I can hear. What are you practicing, I've never heard that tune before." Yin perched herself on the amp, tail waving slightly as she watched him. She knew about music, and loved listening to all kinds.

Anen jolted upright on the couch as the first few notes vibrated through the air and the building and straight into his bones. That was LOUD. The book fell off his lap. He wass deeply disoriented for a few seconds, until he figured out he'd fallen asleep over a book in HQ.
What's Sire doing? That was really loud. Anen put one pair of hands over his ears.

"Random riffs, really. You play anything, Yin?"
He grinned, and strummed a few more cords, unplugging the amp.

"No, but I swing a mean baseball bat." Yin grinned, watching him unplug everything, then waved to Anen when the other Fa'e nearly fell off the couch. "Hi, Anen! Sorry, didn't see ya there."

Anen took his hands off his ears and waved back hesitantly. "I came in earlier. I must have fallen asleep... "
He stared curiously at the amp. "What's that?"

"Loud," Yin replied, looking down at the amp as her legs kicked slightly.

"It's what makes the music so loud. It's not near as loud when you're the one playing it."

Anen pushed himself off the couch, picking his book up on the way, and went to have a look at the electronic equipment, flashing an inquiring look at Sire to see if it was okay to touch it.

Anen looked carefully at the amp, touching the dials lightly, careful not to change the settings. "How's it work?"

Yin slid off of the amp as Anen approached, then padded over to the other two and watched curiously as Sire put the wires away. "Maybe I'll learn to play something someday."

"Maybe someday, we can form a band."
