Apparently Sasuke will be the main character of the fifth Naruto movie.
I'm personally looking forward to it, seeing as how I detested the second movie, couldn't even watch the third, and will not even give the fourth one a try.
How can you possibly screw up with a character like Sasuke? .. Other than adding in a crappy Mary-Sue, though I doubt they'll do something that stupid. .. Okay, there's a lot they can screw up on. gonk
So, discuss.
What do you think this movie will be about?
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for at least a glimpse of Hebi. <3333
More information is supposedly being released sometime this week.

My day is now complete.
I will for sure watch this movie. Naruto movies are nothing without Sasuke -loves the first one-
Hummm, it could maybe be about something with Sasuke fighting some person. & Sakura comes to the rescue
I really hope we see Hebi tooo. That would be sweet.
But I have the idea that Sasuke needs to fight somebody, things happen,
And THERE BETTER BE a SasuSaku moment. I don't care if it's a filler.
I want one.

I personally think it would be kinda cool to see how he spent his time with Orochimaru. (And maybe see a little of Suigetsu and Karin. wink )
I'm not sure what they would do if they made a movie about Hebi...
Hmmm... Is there even any information as to when this movie might be released (If there is indeed going to be a movie)? Because it's been almost a year and the anime is only just getting to the Reunion arc. If the movie is coming out before 2009, then I can't imagine the anime being up to the Hebi arc, and thus, they would not make a movie about them.
Where'd you find this information anyway? I really didn't expect to see a new movie coming out. o.o *hasn't even seen the fourth one yet* TvT

The movie is supposed to be released in August, like all the other movies, from what I've heard.
And actually, around next Fall, the anime should be getting into the Hebi Arc. So a movie with them wouldn't be too farfetched, though I doubt we'd get anything more than glimpses.
I got this information from a thread at NarutoFan. I'd go look it up right now if my computer wasn't spazzing. gonk I'll track it down again later and add the link to the first post.
Mah. I'd love to see a filler SasuSaku moment, but I doubt that even more than I doubt seeing Hebi. D:

I died when I was on Youtube today and saw it. Died and went to heaven. SASUMOVIEYAY!
Hopefully it won't have misleading information and such and will be PURE CANON... and I want that scan/poster thing. Lets hope and see if the movie will be good. I'd like to see Hebi soon, fourty-one episodes in and were already at four-tails. And it only started in March? Let's see... -does calculations-
39 episodes = 45 chapters... interesting. (Damn, those filler parts take up alot of time)
I'm just so excited about this! Hope it won't be a let-down.

I always love the way they draw the characters in the movies.

I'm personally not getting my hopes up for anything. (Now you know which poll option I clicked.) Though I spotted the trailer with Naruto in it, there seems to be a Team 7 moment lurking in the dark... but I dunno. The past three movies weren't exactly my type. I do hope it sparks my interest like the first one, though.
(Meaning, there HAS to be some SasuSaku. Please, God, please.)
We won't be knowing until 2009, though. That's when the DVD release gets out, and that's when the subbers would have translated it.

Ya I stumbled across that trailer/teaser awhile ago and I was like Sasuke's actually in it? I to was disappointed with the 2nd and 3rd movies, so hopefully this one will be better. Well it appears that Sasuke and Naruto are teaming up, but where would Sakura be in all this? We need some SasuSaku! Hopefully soon they'll release another trailer so we can speculate more. wink

The movie is out today! Kyaa~! I wish I was in Japan and know Japanese, so I can watch it! It's so tempting. I hope there's a SasuSaku moment or interaction between them. But we have to wait for it to come out next year...
