Saki sat in the living room, watching some boring infomercials stations have when there is nothing else to put on. She had nothing to do. The tree was decorated, preasents laid neatly under the well lit branches. The little ones were peacefully playing with their parents and other siblings. She was thinking also, but about something totally diffrent then what her mom was.

Eric poked his head into the living room. Yet again he found himself completely bored. He spotted Saki watching T.V. and went over to her. "Hi there." he said as he came up from behind her and placed his hands on her shoulders.

She looked up and smiled, surprised to see him but not dissapointed. "Hi back." She replyed as her thoughts cleared and the TV screen was cleared of haze and static that her mind thought was there.

Eric smiled back and said, "Since Galaxa got her orphan. I have to take care of him when he is sick. Wonderful job that is! His name is Scuppers, weird name huh? Anyway how are you?"

"I'm okay, just getting ready for christmas...something i'm half looking forward too." Saki replyed as she idly played with the ends of her hair, something she was used to doing.

"What do you mean 'half' looking forward to? I can't wait for Christmas!" Eric chuckled. Then he picked up the remote and began to flip through all the channels. "Nothing seems to be on. Mind if I shut it off?" he asked.

"Just something stores say to make people buy more food." Saki replyed as she rested her forhead in her hands, tempted to curl up next to the warmth.

Wel don't worry," Eric said as he wrapped an arm around her, "I'll be here so if you ever wanted to get away from them you could find me. So cheer up, it is the holidays after all." He smiled at her.

She rested her head on his shoulder, closing her eyes. "Thanks, I'll keep that in mind..." Saki opened her eyes and looked up at him, returning the smile happily.

"Just remember Saki, I'll always be here for you." Eric said as he rested his head ontop of Saki's. He hugged he slighlty with the arm that was wrapped around her.

Saki smiled as she curled up next to him, feeling more comfortable and relaxed then she had in a while...he had that affect on her.
