The sound of thunder and lightning echoes throughout the arena as the titan tron shows the image of a desert,the storm brewing off in the distance. A chorus of voices could be heard laughing,crying, and speaking- all at once. The noise stopped,but it welcomed something more. A deep,powerful voice spoke against the sounds of chanting and bells tolling in the background.A dark,shadowy figure appeared;rapidly walking to the screen. The face of this person couldn't be seen,leaving which left no clue as to who it was.
"She lays down on the fresh lawn
She can make everything magical
But she tied one on big time
And it makes me want to rewind
To back in the days when we were young
When everything was like a loaded gun
Ready to go off in any minute
And you know we’re gonna win again…"
A bolt of lightning struck,creating a flash on the screen before it turned to darkness. The half of a pale white face emerged from the darkness,and that face was the face of Phoenixfire. At this time,Phoenixfire strode down the ramp with no emotion on her face while the lighting of the arena turned to a deep shade of purple. Her hips swayed from side to side as a layer of fog began to form at her feet. She approached the steel steps and walked up them,stopping at the turnbuckle before looking to the crowd. Phoenix stepped through the ropes and sprinted to one of the turnbuckles,then placing herself on the second rope. She held her arms open and her face pointed upwards as the lights flickered through out the arena. After the lights went to normal,she jumped down and began to pace around the ring

((I'm here, and I'll post an intro later. For now lets just say that Codi Paige is in the ring waiting for the bell.))
In The Shadows
After an ackward time where everyone was just kind of waiting for something to happen, Codi Paige's music hits the PA system. As if they didn't wait long enough, Codi forces them to wait longer as she stands at the top of the stage clearly arguing with someone backstage. The arguement might have been closly related with Codi believing this fight was unfair as she knew for months she was going to win. Reluctantly, Codi begins with her usual entrance starting off by clapping her hands to the sound of The Rasmus' "In The Shadows". Codi continues down the ramp, shrugging off handshakes then ignoring them altogether. This brings a rush of boo's towards Codi's direction, which Codi also ignores as she slides into the ring.
Once inside the ring Codi gazes at her oppenant for a brief moment as she holds the top rope of one corner. She warns the referee to keep her back as she hops up to the second rope. Codi points to all her 'fans' then preforms her trademarked backflip. Landing in the center of the ring. Codi calls her oppenant some type of obscene name before backing away to one rope to wait for the bell.

Phoenixfire felt her blood boil at a scorching temperature as she watched Codi enter the ring. She had to retain herself when her opponent called her an obscene name,because the bell had not yet tolled. Phoenix sneered as she glared in Codi's direction,waiting. As the bell tolled,Phoenix attempted to go for a lock up.

Codi backed away from the lock up and ordered the referee to check her oppenant for any weapons or anything else since it was a title match. Codi really just wanted to get the upperhand early and try to attck her oppenant while the ref checked her.

Phoenixfire took three steps backwards from where she had been previously standing,staring at Codi before the referee caught her attention. She held her arms outwards,as the referee began to check her for any foreign objects. The ref patted her down and found no objectionable items,but ordered her to relinquish her chain necklace anyways. Phoenix rolled her eyes in disbelief as she waited,wondering what would occur next.

Codi grinned as she took this opportunity to rush towards Phoenixfire, attempting to hit her with a flurry of rights to the head. The crowd boo'd Codi methods of trying to win a match, it's something they've seen before and will surely see again.

((My three year Gaiaversary was on December 16th. I have my good moments every now and then...when I don't have a bad case of WBFH- Writer's Block From Hell. I've been trying to push myself to write more sentences. It won't kill me since I have to write a page long journal entry in my English class and I'm taking a Creative Writing course-which I've exempted from my exams just to piss my teacher off. It'll show her to tell me that my writing sucks,especially since I'm getting published and I've received awards for it- which she has don't in a long time with her writing.))
The flurry of rights from Codi hit Phoenixfire's face,alarming Phoenix greatly. She hadn't been anticipating such methods of attack this early in a match,but it honestly didn't surprise Phoenix considering what kind of person Codi was- unpredictable,risk-taking, and downright mean;just like Phoenix was but only occasionally and in moderation. Phoenix lifted her hand to her face,resting it on her jaw as her eyes widened in shock before she stared over at Codi.

With some warning from the referee Codi backs away from Phoenixfire with a grin. She brushes her hair back with one hand as she insults Phoenixfire, claiming that this match would be easier than she thought.

Phoenixfire drew her hand from her jaw as she backed away from the referee. She decided that if she distanced herself from Codi for a very,very small amount of time that she may be able to decide on a plan of attack. Phoenix stared straight at Codi,her eyes glaring like lit embers embedded in her skull.

The crowd hadn't stopped booing Codi since her attack on Phoenixfire just a moment ago, but she was able to ignore the boos and not let them get to her, for now. Codi approached Phoenixfire without haste and was quick to attempt a common elbow tie-up.
