[Xera] You know what? I've been kind of wondering why most of the games on the PS3 haven't been that long. They have all been short, or just eh. What is up with that? [Xera] asked a question and there were no responses(not counting Daxel's joke) to it. I can't answer it so I'll let someone who can.

How can we answer to that, its not like anyone of us work for game company that makes games for the PS3. But I think its because the PS3 is only about a year old. Just wait a year or two and you will see what the PS3 can really do.

The answer is kinda simple.
Isn't it obvious that developers are going nuts trying to work with the PS3 dev kits? If these developers are struggling to work the with technology then they probably don't want to spend as much time developing a game on that hardware. They just need time to work out the kinks and maybe they'd be willing to go the extra mile and fill up all that space on the Blu-Ray discs.

PS3 only has a handful of hardcore-pleasing-games, and a few of those have been short. Like Nter said, PS3 game developers are at odds with the hardware, and not a lot of "hardcore" titles are being released.
Reminiscent of Wii, no?

Well, developer inexperience coupled with the shortening attention span of the average gamer could also play a bit of a part in this.
