Chaser had been wandering around the lands for some time. She hadnt seen Urza nor her own daughter for a while. She flipped her mane and quickly walked back to where she had left her daughter before she had left. She did not know why, but she had a strange feeling come over over, very odd. She picked up her hoofs so the snow would not stick to her pink hoofs. She looked around, she was only at the forest? She hurried along towards the river where she had left her daughter. She was not there, where could she have been. After a moment of pondering she heard a noise come from the forest behind her. She quickly turned to see Tolavan, had she gained wieght while she was away? Chaser smiled, "Tolavan it's great to see you! I'm sorry I left for that last week. WHere is your father?" Tolavan hid behind a tree, trying to cover up her belly. She guessed by her mothers look that she noticed her big stomach. She slowly swolled and came from behind the tree. She did not dare look to her mother, she was only afraid of what she might say. She kept her mouth closed as her mother gave her a concerned look. Tolavan sighed quietly as she looked up to listen to her mothers words. She smiled, "it is good to see you too mother. I shall not ask why you were gone, for that would be rude." She bit her bottom lip, her father, what would he say when she told them why she was the way she looked. She gulped quietly, "I dont remember where daddy is, but I know he'll be here soon."

It hadn't been too long since he was away from Chaser, though he was worried about her. His daughter also lingered into his mind. He hadn't seen her since she became an adult. He couldn't help but worry about her as well. What if someone took advantage of her, or something. He flicked his braided tail as he walked carefully in the snow. He hated the stuff. All it was was frozen water... WATER! Plus, it was very slippery. He fell a few times that day already.
Of course it didn't take long for him to find both his mate and daughter. They were where they seemed to like best. The River. Not some place he'd call lovely, but since they enjoyed it, he did. His eyes went to Tolavan's belly almost instantly. What was he seeing? Had she gained weight. He didn't want to think about the possibility of being a grandfather. He smiled at both of the mares as he came closer, his eyes still bouncing from each of their faces and to Tolavan's belly.
Fear was building up, as he came closer. If she was getting fat, it wouldn't have been just her belly. Though, he was still being arrogant with the whole situation. He tried not to show on his face the concern he had towards the enormous belly. Had it really been that long since they last saw her? He wanted to ask about it, but feared hearing the answer.

Chaser looked to see Urza was coming towards them. She smiled sweetly, but in the back of her mind she was still worried about her daughter. When his eyes rested on Tolavans belly she knew he too was thinking of what was going on. She too was curious, but yet said nothing about until her daughter said something. Had she been eating to much? No, she couldn't have, she never really ate much, she only took what she needed. Her smile faded to concern without her even knowing. SHe walked quickly over to Urza as she looked into his purple eyes, Chaser still unawear of her face of concern. She nodded to Urza, "Hello my love." She looked back to Tolavan who seemed rather skittish. Chaser sucked in her breath, what was she thinking about? Was it really bothering her this much. She watched Tolavan, hoping there eyes would meet, yet her daughter continued to look at the ground.
Tolavan watched her father walk towards them, she gulped even harder as she took a step back. She noticed her father had looked to her stomach before he had even looked to her face. She breatehd slowly, how were they going to react to this? What were they going to do? Were they going to throw her out like her first parents. She had never cried in her life, but she felt like tears were going to sting her eyes. She kept her gaze low as she shuffled some. The quiet of the wilderness froze like the ice on the trees. She felt for a moment that the world had stopped, but when she finnaly looked up to see both her parents she bit her bottom lip hard. She looked at her mother, then to her father, then to the ground, and she slowly repeated this a couple of times. She held back warm hot tears which laid behind her eyes. She whispered, "Mommy, daddy, I have to tell you something very important right now."

Urza nuzzled Chaser, and looked back at Tolavan with a smile. The way that she said she needed to tell them something, he just knew his fear happened. Maybe it wasn't what he thought, and she found a nice boy. Not that Urza wouldn't have a nice long talk with him first. But if someone used her, he'd want to hunt them down and hurt them very badly. "Does... it have to do with your belly?" He finally asked trying to joke about the situation. Not that it was a funny matter. It could be happy, and disappointing at the same time.
He flicked his braided tail and smiled trying to keep calm about the situation. He knew if her answer was her being pregnant, then he'd be angry weather it was with someone she loved or not. But it would only last a short while, while he got use to the fact at being a grandfather. Though, he couldn't help but have this feeling that she didn't want to tell them in fear of something else. He looked from Chaser to Tolavan, not looking towards her belly this time.

Chaser looked towards herdaughter, she knew what was coming, she had seen it so many times before. She clamped her mouth shut as she closed her eyes and tried to just listen to the world around her, taking in this moment of silence. She looked at Urza with wide eyes, showing him she was not afraid of what was coming, but she was not going to be mad at the answere. She looked at her daughter, and gave her a comfortin smile, "What is it sweetie?" Chaser's crystal eyes looked to Urza as she gave him a smile of love. She took a couple steps towards her daughter, she looked her in the eyes, and gave a warm, gentel, smile. Her daughter was scared, and she was yerning to cry, she could feel it. She slowly walked towards her daughter and nuzzled her. She whispered, "It's going to be ok, just tell us what it is sweetie."
Tolavan burst into tears, she had never crie in her life, but she couldn't help it. Her tears fell into the already frozen water droplets that the indians called snow, she looked towards her father, her eyes spilling tears. She shook her mane and tried to stop crying, she took in a huge breath, but when her mother nuzzled her, she felt the warmth of mother made her tears slowly stop. She looked at the ground and shuffled a bit, then whispered so quietly, she was surprised that her father would even hear it. She sobbed quietly, "I-I'm pregnent...and I-I..." she stopped to take in a deep breath, and close her eyes. She shook her head mentally as she bit her bottom lip and continued, "And I dont know who the father is. I dont even remeber what he looks like...."

He didn't know how to handle a crying mare. Who could? Anything he was to say would probably upset her more. He kept his mouth shut when she told them she was pregnant. So it was true, and she didn't just eat a huge watermelon or something. He'd have to have a little talk with her when she calmed down. It wasn't a bad thing, they could help her raise the baby, or babies. He flicked his tail and just smiled, letting chaser take over the comforting part.

Chaser respected that her love kept his mouth closed, she didnt want her daughter to cry over something silly. She looked at him and gave a slight smile, it wasnt his fault he didnt know what to say. Chaser bit her bottom lip so she didnt cry like her daughter. SHe had never seen her daughter cry, never. She nuzzled her more, "It's ok, everything is going to be alright." She had to stop herself from saying, or so we hope. The mare glanced down to the groundand hushed her daughter quietly. The tear made her upset, only wishing that this would end soon so her daughters pain would stop.
Tolavan held back the rest of the tears to show that she was somewhat alright. Sniffing quietly she looked to her father in dissapointment, not knowing what on earth to say to him. She quietly walked towards him and said, "I'm sorry daddy." Tolavan kept her light brown eyes down, not daring to look to her father just in case his face showed pure anger.

"Sorry for what?" He did a fake smile that would convince anyone. "This is a good thing!" He lied and tried to see the good out of it. Well, he could make the little ones not rape anyone else. "I'll be a grandpa." he said in a light voice almost dazed by the thought. It was so strange. But he knew deep in side, that when the little one was born, he wouldn't want it any other way.
