I'm an Atheist. All I celebrate is my birthday, which only happens to fall pretty darn close to Christmas. More specifically, the nineteenth of December (Wednesday!). So. Yeah. Not a whole lot else.

I celebrate Christmas, despite my lack of being a Christian. (That's not to say I don't have some type of faith, it's just rather complicated to explain)
Honestly, I just love to give presents. I bought them fro my friends and family, and yep, even internet friends. (Lol, my address book is so full of people I never met but still send presents to<33) I feel awkward receiving them even though I'm really appreciative... So I dunno.
I partake in Christmas, but I guess I don't actually celebrate it. I mean, Jesus was a cool dude and all, but I guess I'm just in it for the occasion.

Well, we do the presents bit, but it's not a celebration. It's a random "everyone else is giving out gifts, so... we will, too!" But it's not as big a deal for us. It's just something small (though our grandparents insist on calling it Christmas).
Nearly thought they'd disown us when my parents told 'em that we didn't really celebrate because we didn't believe in God. Or they didn't, I was too young to know what was going on, only they were really ticked off. I later decided I didn't believe, and then it made sense...

Anti-Christian people like to tell me that because the date we celebrate Christmas was set on the same date as a pagan holiday (to make it easier to make them Christian of course) that I am actually celebrating a pagan holiday for a Pagan god. To that I say YOU ARE A DUMBASS...IF I SAY I AM CELEBRATING THE BIRTH OF CHRIST THAN THAT IS WHAT I AM CELEBRATING IDIOT.
In other words you are celebrating whatever the hell you want to celebrate. You should celebrate Christmas cause it's just plain fun. If you are atheist then you can celebrate science if you believe in that. Or celebrate friendship, love, or family...seriously...everyone is having fun and so should you lol.

I believe in God && stuff but to be honest I don't really believe in religon it's self. I think what happened to me is soley based on what I believe, I don't need to go and group up with others[[aka church]] because i believe the same thing as a bunch of other peopel do. BAh if my mother read this i'd be dis owned. XD i do celebrate christmas and more because i want to let my family and friends know i care then celebrating Jesus birth. Though the latter is important, i should do what i can for my family and friends while I am still alive and share the love which is what God is all about. lol.
don't trash on my thoughts please :]

Since we get a break in February (and not even on my birthday!) we get less time off from school for winter break. 3 I can't wait for this last year to finally be over though, so I'm glad to take things as they come.
