That made me laugh. Even though I didn't get it. sweatdrop
Another thing.Someone wrote this on the whiteboard in my school's bandroom : Have a Very Merry Politically Correct-mas.
Also, some girl in the bandroom got a life-size cardboard cut-out of Orlando Bloom, decked out in his Pirates costume.

Hmm...I see. That clears things up.
By the way, do I need Internet to use mIRC to access #ennui? The router's busted, and my laptop doesn't have Internet.

You need the Internet to do everything online. This includes IRC.

.....
Um, no matter how computer illiterate I may seem, I DO know that you need the Internet to access things online.
And, I was just asking to make sure, since I wasn't sure if an IRC client required the Internet.

By the way, what did you guys get for Christmas (Chrifsmas in Firi's case)?
I got the following:
$150 total, $50 of which is going to a stock to pay for retirement. A cute little calendar of sleeping cats 12 pairs of socks (I'm serious). Ai Yori Aoshi, vol. 1 Naruto, vol. 27. ('Tis where I scanned my current sig from. -Becomes unnaturally giddy-)
Mom says her gift will arrive around mid-January, about the same time as my birthday. And Dad says he will get my brother and I some new computers.

What the title says!
Post gifts maybe?
I got a purse, body lotion and spray, a green scarf and really soft blanket, a mirror, two jackets/sweaters, a shirt, and a couple CDs. One was Brahms and the other was a set of 6 Rachmaninov CDs of his major works.
That's all from my dad and stepmom and her side of the family. I opened them on the first day of Hanukkah since their Jewish.
My mom doesn't buy me gifts anymore, so I actually didn't open anything on Christmas. I still have a Christmas party to go to on Saturday with most of my friends. In fact, I'm bound to get at least one more gift since we have a secret santa thing to do.

Money, bracelet, Amazon giftcard, more money, more money, DVDs, chocolate, and a boyfriend but that was an early gift.
The adults always seem to give money these days. Which is good, it means I get to buy what I want/ need later on. My mother was sneaky about giving me money. She placed it in a hong bao and then put that in a box. The box was then wrapped and presented to me. I was wondering why it felt so light...
PS: My bracelet is made out of bent nails.

Merry Christmas!
What? Telling what you got? But... I can tell you in Swedish >_> You wouldn't understand that. I got a spoon. Yeah. We have one just like it and it's my favourite for rice. So I got one to take with me when I move out. I got two scarfs... Palestina scarfs. One white/black and one pink/black. I got two books with food recipes. And then I got money. 2000 SEK. Or maybe 2500. Haha I'm so not a capitalist, can't remember the number xd Oh and I got a thing... it can make a high noise. Like I pull the trigger if someone's trying to murder/rob/rape me. An alarm thing. I don't think pepper spray is legal here... and I always have a long key if I want to hurt someone.
FIRIONA YOU GOT A BOYFRIEND FOR CHRISTMAS? TELL ME TELL ME!
And yay I managed biggrin I googled the scarfs to see their name, but the alarm thingy was tricky. I hope you understand what it is. Överfallslarm in Swedish.

Money, new set of knives, chocolate, pullover and a new PS2 (Santa brought me a new one after my old brokeded and they're off a good bit now). May Firi's early gift make her life rich in happiness and awesome.
I also got a Firi 2 months preceeding Christmas... but I sincerely hope it's a lifetime gift as opposed to a christmas one.
