Quest for the Grail is about the Holy Grail. The cup used by our Lord at the last supper. People have been looking for it for years.

In this RP we jump forward in time to the year 2020 AD. The world is a very dark & mysterious place. The continent of Europe has come together as one supreme super power over all other nations. America has fallen into decadence. The once great & mighty USA has fallen on some very hard times. Crime runs rampent thru the streets. The Police no longer truelly protect & serve the people. Now they have become as cruel & unjust as the criminals. The United States Government has declared martial law thru out the nation. No one is really free anymore. No one save for those that have wealth & power. People now roam free about the streets in various forms of undress if they so choose. Black magic is on the rise amongst both young & old alike. Those that profess they are wizards roam freely about the streets selling magical items. The church of our Lord has become a target for vandels & hate mongers. No one is safe anymore.

One day Pastor Thomas came across an old text in the church archives about the Holy Grail. He made a decision then & there to find the Grail & bring it home too the church. Some in the congregation believed the Pastor was trying too fight fire with fire by finding a holy relic. A symbol of power for good which could be used to help bring peace to a once great, but now tainted land. Pastor Thomas advised the church it was not only a symbol of our Lords power, but once filled with water it became holy. This holy water would be used to fight off those that which have taken over both the day & night. The shadows that walk amongst us. Tempting us too do wrong & sin. The shadows have become more bold in recent years. No longer just whispering in our ears, but out right walking amongst us in various forms. Pretending to be our leaders of both church & state. Some take on forms of magicians & various animals. The Pastor assembled a group of believers too follow him on this adventure for the Grail. His texts also contained a map. This map was incomplete. They must now search for clues & allies if they hope to find & bring home the Holy Grail.

Pastor Thomas paced back & forth in his office at the church. "Where do I begin on my quest?" He mumbled too himself. "I only have a part of the map showing the grails location." He sat down on the couch in the office. "Give me strength so as to find the missing peaces." He prayed. "I will need to assemble a team too go with me on my journey. I will ask my assistant pastor, Michael. I'm sure he would love to help me find the grail." Pastor Thomas left his office too go find Michael.

Pastor Thomas walks past his secretaries desk. She tells him someone has called for him. He has her transfer the call to his cell phone. "Yes? This is Pastor Thomas speaking."

"Hello, Pastor Thomas; my name is Misty Jones..you dont know me but apparently you and my father were colleage; well anyways my dad passed away and left me a letter with your name and number; also a brief instruction to call and to deliver an old piece of paper."....

The assistant pastor, Michael, led Gabe into a back office and told him to wait there. Gabe sat in a leather chair and felt slightly uncomfortable. He had sworn off religion when his younger sister gotten killed in a car accident. Then after his father's death Gabe figured that there was no God. He felt as if someone were watching him. Weighing him down with guilt for his feelings. He hoped that Michael guy came back soon.

Michael went down the hallway and found Pastor Thomas. "Hey, there's a young man here to see you."

Michael brought in Gabe and left, slightly cracking the door so he could listen in. He had been nosey in his past, some of it was coming out now. He had to find out what this boy was doing here.

Gabe looked around the office and then to the Pastor sitting across from him. He took a deep breath. "Look, my dad was an Arceologist....he found this piece of parchment at a dig in Africa. He passed it down to me after he died...look...it's something to do with the Holy Grail, and it said that if I wanted to go looking for it that I needed to follow a man of God's power. It had this sybol on it." He showed Pastor Thomas the parchment and the symbol. It was the same symbol from the church. A symbol of a cross in a circle and an eye starring out from a window of sorts. "I've been here before, on a visit from England to be with my grandmother. I came here when I was five...yet I still remember that Symbol....now tell me Pastor...what does all of this mean?"

"Well the Grail is the cup which our Lord drank from before he was killed. Then he arose again from the dead. Some believe the grail has power. Power too change plain water into holy water. I am actually going to be starting a quest for the grail." The Pastor said. "May I please see your piece of the map?"

"Yes. Yes I do. Being a christian I do believe in the cup used at our Lords last meal." Pastor Thomas looked at Gabes peace of the map. He then unlocked a drawer in his desk to get his own peace. Putting the two pieces together gave him more information, but still left alot a questions for him.
