The snow had come!
Aiolos was particularily curious the morning the snow had fallen and cast a huge white blanket across his homelands close to the base of the mountians. Often he would listen to stories of his parents travels up to the massive peaks yet it wasn't everyday that he'd even imagine that the snow stuff would come down to see him! Leaving the confines of his cave to explore a bit; Twilight and Cosette didn't have to worry much since he'd aquired more than sturdy footing moments after his hatching.
Yet it wasn't before long untill an oh so familliar itching sensation tingled up his legs.
Aiolos needed to run!
Smirking vivaciously like his brother's would; the colt took off in an amazingly fast gallop across the snowy plains. Kicking up whirls of snow in his wake he edged his lithe but sturdy body to go faster, and faster. Laughing out loud; he tossed his head back and gave a 'Whooohooo!' into the chilly air whilst listening to it echo across the clearing.
It was a shame he missed the feeling of ground below his hooves be replaced by ice. Snapping his eyes wide the foal wobbled slightly as he slid in circles at what quickly became a horrible speed to be on ice at. "Whoa, Whoa WHOA!" He yelped, before tumbling down in a poof of snow against the ice and sliding a bit further untill he came to a full stop near the middle of the lake. Since when had this been here!? Huffing slightly, the colt tried to get back on his feet...yet thanks to the surface of the ice being fresh and slick; it seemed it would be a more daunting task than he could imagine!
"What's this? Where did the ground go!?"

Have stolen away from her family, though she was by far the most calm, if energetic and optimistic (how was she the most calm again?), Icefall played about in the snow happily, sometimes talking to imaginary friends she'd made up for herself. It wasn't long when her attention caught the unusual (or usual?) sound of hoofbeats...
Curious now, she nosed her away along slowly until ice met snow, and there she stopped. She looked left and then right, and right and then left, but saw nothing for a moment. Her ears twitched when she heard something else just as unusual, and she looked out towards the place where ice replaced snow, and her eyes widened when she noticed another foal. It was he who was making the odd noise, but she didn't want to switch from ice to snow.
She was named for a reason, and normally it happened... "Hello?" she called out. The lake was much bigger than it looked but a huge proportion of it was covered in snow... and ice. She circled around the edge for a moment, waiting for a response. The foal seemed to be mumbling to himself but she couldn't make out what he was saying either.

Looking up from his predicament; the dark blue hue'd colt blinked and squinted his eyes as his legs slipped slightly from the sleek ice below him. It seemed like another dark blue foal was off at the shore, as his ears perked to hear its; or her call now that he could pick up on the femininity of her vocals. Strange; if he wasn't so sure what his siblings looked like he would have sworn from this distance she could have been one of them! They looked pretty alike from what he could tell from all the way out in the middle of the lake.
"Hello over there!" He beamed as he shouted out, trying to get up once more to no avail as he slipped again and smacked his chin on the ice. "Owch..." He huffed out, shaking off the pain before glancing back to the foal on the shoreline.
"I seem to have gotten stuck out here! I dunno' what I can do; its so slippery that I can't get up!" Unlike his siblings; Aiolos wasn't afraid to accept a bit of humility in his life....very unlike Zevach. The navy colt knew when to ask for help and when to have pride...and since he couldn't run out on this ice; he wanted to desperately get off it it so he could do so!
"Do you know how I can get off?" He called aloud; hoping she could hear him from their distance.
