So while I was away at summer camp: I found one of the best hippie games ever: Ultimate Frisbee. For those of you that don't know, its a team game where both teams take turns on offense and defense trying to score goals down a long field by throwing and catching a frisbee.
has anyone else here ever played or actively play this?

I did, but it was during gym class with a bunch of bozo jocks and wasn't that much fun.
I probally would have enjoyed it a lot more if I played it with my friends. :3

I've played it during P.E. in high school a few times. It was okay, but some of the people got too competitive when it should have just been fun.
My favorite was always hitting the ball in softball or baseball - I was always really good at hitting it. It was running or catching that I wasn't very good at.

ultimate frisbee is good, funny whenever you have a bad arm and it flys crookedly xd

I disliked playing it in gym class because all the guys would try too hard to prove their machismo by throwing it really hard and screaming at anyone who wasn't good at it. Nothing is more traumatizing than being screamed at by a jock going through 'roid rage. ;_;
It's a fun game...if everyone just calms down and has fun with it.

OHMEEGEEEEE. I used to play that when I lived in Canada, it was sooo fun! Sadly I don't think they have it here.. But anyways, most people don't know about it. That's like the only sport I'm decent at. Though now if I tried to play I'd probably fail miserably since I don't remember the rules and haven't been throwing frisbees and running around alot. confused
