Entry into this area required crew access card (different from the 5 key cards) and a code. The area is generally more comfortable than the civilian bunks. It also is most likely to have the missing key cards hidden somewhere in the area.

Stephen draws back from the controls, shaking his head. he pulls his coat on over his tenticals, and looks up out of the bridge at the nearby ship. he sighs and turns to exit the bridge, grabbing his palm computer as he passed it. he stepped up to the door as it hissed open at his presence. Stephen turned and gazed back at the bridge, half in the door way and half out. he felt his pocket for the crew card and walked out of the bridge.

Syx took some of the back hallways, skipping through to make her way to the Bridge. There were a couple of shady characters, but she ignored them, and as she had someone behind her, and a gunbelt, she wasn't exactly a prime target.
Syx moved up to the door with her access card, and in a swish the doors of the bridge slid open. Sam was waiting leaning against the controls. "Took you long enough. Since when has a minute become an hour, McClairy?"
"Shut up, Sam, I picked up another hacker. Hopefully this one might be able to do something about the lock down." Syx ignored the other marshal as she made her way to the computers. "Get over here Shanra, and see what you can do."
Sam raised his eyebrow at the name. "Picking up hackers from the prison?" He shook his head. He assumed the Shanra person was the guy Pendari didn't want killed. Sam leaned against the wall behind Syx and Shanra, waiting for a good moment. He didn't really want to kill Syx, but there were some things that couldn't be helped.

"Who said I was a prisoner?" Jarred smiled, walking up to Syx, looking around, then moving to a control panel.
"Hang on, I gotta plug in." He mumbled, pulling out his PDA.
"You got a fix, Sara?"
*Yeah, I'm uploading the Emerald Haze now." A holographic image of a blue woman appeared over the PDA. There was a soft buzz noise, and she nodded her head. *It's in.*
Jarred fiddled with the PDA. "It might take a minute." He said to the others."

"You probably look like a prisoner, minus the tattoos, and blood-hungry look." Syx said with a half grin. Syx leaned over to see the action at work.
Sam mumbled to himself and raised his gun to the backs of Syx and Shanra. He didn't want to do it, but the alternative was worse, much worse. He took two quick shots, going for Syx first, knowing he didn't want to be on the opposite end of her guns.

hearing gunfire, Stephen enters the Bridge to see Sam holding a gun at Styx, the barrel smoking. "Sir! whats going on?!?"

He took two quick shots, going for Syx first, knowing he didn't want to be on the opposite end of her guns. ((sure, leave the job of saving everyone to me...)) Jarred heard the sound of the gun being unholstered, his head snapping up at Sam. The images processed extremely fast, and Jarred moved just as fast, grabbing Syx and diving behind a console with her.

((I could have done all the work and given you nothing to do, I thought I was being nice.))
The blaster fire hit the console, the controls sparking. Sam swore, and swore again when Stephen walked in. He turned his fire on the hacker. "Sorry, Kid."
Syx situated herself securely behind the console and pulled out her own gun. She zoomed in, fired, and hit Sam on the gun arm. "Get back, Stephen!" She warned as she fired a second time to take Sam down. She had her settings on stun. She wanted him alive.

Jarred rolled, coming up in a crouch, his gun out and pointed at the man who just entered, keeping Sam in his peripheral.
"What the hell is going on?"

"Same thing I want to know." Syx began walking over to Sam's still form. "I've worked with him for two years." She glanced at Jarred, "relax, Stephen's our local computer nerd."
As she was distracted a small spider like machine rose out of Sam's com system and emitted a loud whirring noise, a drill forming out of its front.
Syx's head snapped back to Sam, and she moved with increased speed to try and grab the spider. She was too late as it drilled itself into Sam's chest, and disappeared into his body. Within a few seconds there was a muffled popping noise, and lines of blood began flowing from Sam's nose and ears.
He was definitley dead, and whoever had him in their control had made sure he wouldn't be telling any secrets.

"Worked with him longer than two that guy, have you?" Jarred asked, not taking his gun off of Stephen, but watched the spider drill into Sam. He moved closer to the body, eying the head.
"Sara, can you get a trace on the spider in there?" He asked the PDA which was still laying where he left it when Sam opened fire.
((Respond telling me whether or not he can, and whether or not he can get a trace on the signal.))

"Stephen could have done a lot worse to us if he was interested. I trust him, true I trusted Sam too, but I'm not going to let one bad egg ruin my sense of trust for good." Syx shook her head. "This is much messier than I thought it was. We'll be needing some help."
The spider had exploded in Sam's brain, but there was still a signal slowly dying that could be picked up. Sara was able to pick up that the command came somewhere from the rec center, but nothing more.
Syx sighed, and grabbed a knife from Sam's belt. She looked it over a moment, checked the blade. Then in a quick movement jammed the knife deep into her left leg.

Syx grunted as she took the knife out of her leg. "Sending out a distress signal." She looked for some kind of fabric to tie off the leg and slow down the bleeding, but wasn't having much luck. " Should probably see Lia about this." She said to herself.
