The elevators leading to the lower levels require a crew card and acess number. In the lower levels cargo and storage fills the cargo holds. Most of it is in large wooden crates, and in many ways it can be considered treasure hunting, if you're lucky enough to get down there.

The engine room is down there as well, although the engineers are all dead from a poison gas slipped into the area by the raiders. The gas has since dissipated....mostly. Anyone in the engine room for long periods of time might get a bit sick.

Jarred waited patiently for Syx to locate his stuff.
"She was an old friend, I didn't expect to see her. Chance of the moment." He explaind.

"An old friend how? She seemed a bit posh, and no offense but you seem more an in the dirt kind of guy." Syx looked through the lists on the cargo computer, then nodded. "Row six, aisle C. Kind of like shopping in a way" She headed towards the storage dock, where his ship was supposed to be located. There were a couple other ships they passed by, most all of them small. "what kind of ship is this we're looking for?"

Jarred's eyes lit up... even though they were already lit up and yeah, as he saw his ship.
He moved over to the dark green fighter, the word "Grushdeva" painted along the nose. He rubbed a hand along the side of it, smiling. "Mind using yer key to unlock her? My stuff's inside, and Sara's prolly bored with playing tetris."

"Sara? There's someone in there?!" Syx moved to grab her card and used it to disable the lock system they had put on the ship. "Are you crazy?"

"Sara? There's someone in there?!" Syx moved to grab her card and used it to disable the lock system they had put on the ship. "Are you crazy?"

"Yes! It's terrible! Unlock it before she suffocates or starves!" Jarred said with mock fear; fear that would, however seem realistic to someone who hadn't quite realized what Sara was.
Jarred quickly climbed into his ship, the top opening up, his form disappearing.

*Took you long enough*
A slightly tinny voice came from the inside of the c**k pit as Jarred was seen moving things around.
"Yeah yeah... what did they do to my ship!?" Jarred yelled, throwing a few pieces of paper, covered in official stamps out of the cockpit. He could be heard grunting, followed by a short burst of gunfire, plastic shards flying everywhere.
Jarred popped his head back out, a welding mask over his head. "They put a club on my ship!"

Syx shrugged, "They do that, coulda been worse though. They could have spray painted your baby with bright orange paint and the words 'evidence'." She waited impatiently as Jarred worked through his stuff. "Hopefully Sam's not dead by the time we get there."

"Calm down, I'm almost done downloading her." Jarred said, moments before standing up, hooking two things to his belt: a knife and a PDA. He had his vest over his shoulder as he fixed on a gun harness, fitting his pistol in. He placed magazines in the inside pockets of his vest before putting it back on, hopping down.
"O.k. Let's go."

"Downloading her?" Syx raised an eyebrow. "please tell me Sara isn't a digital grilfriend. That's truly sick, Shanra." Syx adjusted her hat and started heading towards the exit. She reached into her back pocket and pulled out her marshal badge, shining it for a moment before sticking it back on. "Despite this, I do love my job."

"She's not a digital girlfriend, she's a sophisticated AI. She runs most of my stuff, and can access most anything." Jarred glanced at her badge. "Still prolly not a good idea to show that off. Sure, I got a gun, but if enough people see that badge, it won't matter." Jarred followed her to the exit.

"The ones I need to worry about will probably know who I am anyway." Syx mumbled something rude under her breath, but removed the badge, sticking it back in her back pocket. "She's based on a real girl, isn't she? All the nerds base their AI's on real girls. As she passed through the main cargo control room Syx spotted a magazine, paled a moment, swiped it up, and kept on walking. "So can this AI of yours hack into the lock-down system? Because if you want to get your ship out of this one, you'll be needing to get rid of the lock down."

"She can't, but I can upload my virus to the computer, which might be able to reverse the lock down." Jarred's glanced out the hallway before entering it. "Alright then, Marshall. Lead the way."

Syx paused to respond to Stephen's call, then moved. "So long as your little virus doesn't destroy the main system." She stepped ahead of him, her hand resting on her belt close by the guns on her hips.

"It doesn't destroy anything, it just let's me bypass certain things." Jarred was keeping his eyes peeled, now slightly more on edge, strangely because he had his gun.

"Fancy, right fancy." Syx moved with a quiet confidence, her eyes zooming ahead to check the area.

(moved to control/bridge thread....and skipped hallways because I'm a lazy bum))
