This is a place to ask questions about how we're going to find the virtues and locations for the virtue gems.
I was figring that the virtues would be hidden until we show the specific virtue, and then the gem for the virtue would appear. I guess we could put them in a thermos, or something you need a code to get into. I could make a magic case for them that you need a specific spell to open, or we could turn to Tech, or we could all put a form of protection on a case.
Also, can we visit books to find the virtues?
PBs and mods, feel free to delete this.

There's no reason to delete this, Layla. This is was this forum is for.
As for my opinion, I'm fine with all of your suggestions. I guess we'll need everyone else's opinion to narrow it down.

I just got another idea!
How about we've all got to go to a book/movie/play that shows a virtue at a certain part, and take the part of the person that shows the virtue? That would make it fun...And more difficult!
Also, I'd like to use the Twilight series for one. There's a part that we can use to get the gem for whatever virtue combats lust.

I know I speak for myself [and a few others like Gwen] who want to visit the HP world. XD
I myself REALLY want to visit the world of Ben Gates, and the National Treassure... XD Either the first movie, or when it comes out, the second one.
If you don't know either one, we did things like this last time. Don't feel left out.

I've seen about 1/4 of the first National Treasure, and I'll have seen all of the second, so I'm ok with that!
As for Ben Gates... I have no clue.
Yay for the HP World!!!!
Are you ok with how we'll get the virtues, though?

As for the virtures, Lynnie hath had the most wondrous idea (that totally sounds like it's coming from me xP We're all so mentally connected as PBers XD), and we must use it. I won't give it away, (the irony is too much to die for XD), but we've decided location of the virtue against lust. -snickers- It won't be mentioned until later on, but it is the final virtue because of what will come next and all that.

Just wait until after the new year (or when I finally get a chance XD) I'm going to see it, but it won't be until January sometime and all that. Also, I'm going to see Enchanted tomorrow, so I will probably have more ideas when I get back home. XD I do however request a few movies/books/shows to NOT be included. Both for content reasons or just so as not to offend anyone. It's also why I'm not doing any of my scary movies and thrillers and all that. For right now, until I can think of others, ABSOLUTELY NO GOLDEN COMPASS!!!! It's not so much just the religious issue, as much as other stuff, although that plays a big part considering the beliefs of several on here. There are several shows out there too with content that shouldn't be included. (That's for the LJness anyways XD) Try to pick something that at least a few have seen/read/etc. It's no fun if only one person knows anything about the situation. And, if there's any movie, book, etc that offends you, please let us know and we'll add that as well. But only if it actually offends you somehow. Don't list something just because you don't know it/have never seen it/etc. Not knowing anything about the world we're in is half the fun. XD Just request where/when you want to go (and the situation taking place there), and we'll give ya a yay or nay. Doesn't mean we'll include it, but it is allowed and all that.

We have to go to Star Wars again. Lynn has just been talking my ear off over here about how excited she is about seeing Luke Skywalker again rolleyes . Tucker frowns at the idea confused , and Devon has been pestering me about who Skywalker is. He's almost convinced me to get the movies so that he can try and put his arm around Lynn while she watches them. stare

I like the idea of going into different books/movies/shows to get the virtues. Lol, anybody object to them taking a trip to the Redwall world?xD (imagines the entire ECC crew as animals. rofl )

Purity againt Lust -Twilight (don't expect much help from me on this one because I haven't read the book and I can't read any of my new books until Christmas morning-
Temperance against Gluttony- ?
Charity against Greed- ?
Diligence against Sloth- ?
Patience against Wrath- ?
Kindness against Envy- ?
Humility against Pride- ?
I kinda want the group to take a trip Ancient Japan...maybe to meet Danrei's ancient ancestor?xD

Here's some more info on the seven virtues:

Well, we can do the virtue against Wrath- Patience- in Eclipse too. It's just a role reversal. Bella's got to be patient with Edward while he basically tricks/bribes her into marrying him.
