This is an entirely separate city from Gambino. You must go through here to get between the three islands (includes Gambino) and the mainland. This is also the place where many ships come in from other large cities down the coast and from across the see.

Three Republic soldiers made their way through the pathways of the port city. Breth, Talos, and Garrett. The three friends had joined the Republic ranks together and had just graduated from the Academy. They had just recieved orders to be stationed at Barton Town and had rented some horses to be on their way.
"C'mon, we don't want to be late.", Breth called out. The othre towo had been gawking at some young women that were passng by.
"Sorry, the two chimed in unison." With that, the three mad for Barton Town.

In the distance, could faintly be seen, three horseman fighting the snow storm and approaching the quaint little city of 40,000 souls, near sunset. Kaki rides his horse directly through the city to shore.
"Excuse me sir," said Kaki was he walked up to the ticket office, "do you have anymore ferries leaving today for Kingdom Isle that might bare three horses and there riders?"
"Yes, milord," said the man, "It will be #5.45 per person and #8.50 per horse."
"That is quite a bit of money," said Kaki.
"Yes, milord, the snow is making travel difficult and the only way they could get the men to go one more trip was to pay them a higher wage."
"Aye," said Kaki, "Get me the tickets for me and my friends and I shall pay for all of it. I suppose you will give me my officers discount?"
"Yes, it will be #41.85, milord. Then with discount it is #37.67."
"Yes, here you go," said Kaki. Then he rode back to his party. "The ferry will leave in 10 minutes. We should bored now."

The veteran warrior had never cared much for water. Of course it was mainly due to the disadvantages it made in battle. He had heard many a battles lost because one group knew how to use a navy and the other did not. Still he didn't figure that he would have to worry about a sudden attack this close to a city.

They then boarded there vessel and headed for the capitol. When they arrived in under an hour, they then started searching for the capitol building.

"Halt!" cried a mysterious voice from the steps of the capitol building, "You must come with me."
Kaki was thrown off guard. It had been nearly 15 years since he and seen a sawnae. As soon as the daze from the beauty of the slayer wore off, Kaki realized that something bad must of happened due to the empty streets and the slayer being allowed so close to the building.
"State your identification!" yelled Kaki to the Sawnae.
"I am Primus, however you may call me prime. Now come humans and follow me, for I have words of urgent origin." Kaki followed Prime to a near alley way with his hand on the hilt of his sword. "Your president was murdered. The city was evacuated due to the fact that the city was attacked by the Imperials. They left after taking your presidents body and killed no others. They were more powerful than any of the guards on duty. The Senate has allowed open war on the Empire. They were looking for you. I was sent by my own will to stop you-"
"Stop me from what?!" interrupted Kaki. "DO NOT! interrupt me again!" said Prime, "you mustn't encourage war. Come with me. I have group that is willing to slay all the war lords. This would cause peace."
"I know that you cannot lie. I shall follow. Old man, Saya, I'm going with him. Follow if you wish," Kaki then stood waiting for a response.

To give up now after following him this far would be senseless. Still he could not help, but wonder what place he would have in this world when the fighting ceased. It was his duty to follow his leader until he achieved his goal, but what was waiting beyond that point...

"You seem to be willing, though I cannot ask you to follow. Follow if you will, by your own doing, that your demise may not be on my hands," then Kaki and Prime headed off for the harbor. It appeared that they were followed by the other two.
"Where shall we go once from the port?" asked Kaki to the group.
"To rally those that are willing to die," said Prime. "There will be few that will be crazy enough to oppose the great armies of both sides. You must make them realize that we are simply assassins, not warriors. Let us go to Durem. They are rejoicing there victory in Gambino and will have there guard lowered."
"Then let us go to Durem! Do you agree Edward?!" Asked Kaki.

They arrived back at the port. Kaki saw Christophe sitting at a table near by.
"Christophe, come here," commanded Kaki.
"Yes sir. Why are you back so soon sir?" asked the ignorant soldier.
"The president was assassinated. You must go back to Gambino, to the Senate. Tell them that I have died as well and gave you my command and rank. Speak nothing of the other you have met on this journey. Now Go!"
Christophe did not wish to have a court marshal haunting him forever, so he did as he was told. Little did he know, Kaki was next in line for the Presidency. By law, Christophe must now take the office.
"You are making a child president?" asked Saya, "I cannot see them allowing this in the senate."
"Yes, However it is law," replied Kaki, "I hope they challenge it. It will only delay the Republic in returning attack on the empire. Now think I'm dead as well, freeing me from there hold."
"Why do follow on a whim? You are rather foolish," said Prime.
"You know that this was my thought as well. To end war in this way. No doubt the reason you found me," replied Kaki. "My last ally, the President, has died with all that my succeed him. I do not wish to stay here."

The group was still about 10 miles from the limits of the port. Then a group of guards appeared in front of the group. There were three of them, well armed and great in size.
"Good citizens of the Free World," said the leader of the group, "I am not to allow any passage into the Port. Show me the proper papers, and I shall let you pass."
"We have not the papers you desire," said Kaki, "yet, you shall allow our passage."
((Ok, trying to get into a fight with the gaurds. I'll make up there stats later.))

Not expecting him to make any kind of stop the three men caught up rather quickly, but still managed to keep their distance. It seemed as though their path was blocked. Each seemed to have their own interpretations about how to handle this.
"I don't see why we just don't hack our way through them. We need through and they block our way." An option, but one that Richard had hoped to avoid.
"My lord, allow me to make an attempt to reason with them. We should avoid spilling blood if possible especially without knowing the quality of these men. Should I fail then a battle may ensue, but only after I try." Good hearted as always. To these men he would probably look like a small, frail, young man.
"Fine. I am sure he would approve of this choice." The "he" that Richard was referring to was of course Kaki.
A slight nod as he rode toward Kaki and the group of soldiers. Richard and Henry followed shortly after should they attempt to attack the young man.
"Please wait. Gentle sirs, we must get through. We do not wish to resort to violence, but we can not simply turn back after coming this far." He didn't really think they would listen to him and it seemed like a fight was already about to be started, but it was worth a try.

((Cavalry -points required: 200 -level 6 attack: Use two weapons in one attack -weapon: Any (Use two weapons means is that you can use they abilities of two weapons in one attack. You do not go twice and you do not gain any other advantages.) ))
((They are all the previously listed ranks.))
"Sir!" said Horseman Forth (The lead officer), "I'm sure your need to pass into the realm is a necessary, as it was for the old widow trying to reach her son in this time of war, but I cannot allow anyone to pass, and especially no one as armed as your group."
"Thank you, Major Jia," said Kaki politely, "However, republican guards are relentless when it comes to keeping orders--"
"Major?!" busted out one of the other guards with a laugh, interrupting Kaki, "it sounds like you are from the old order."
"No, sir. We are the Slayers!" said Kaki pulling out his sword. "Prepare the others to fight," he said to Jia.

Jia offers a short sigh before speaking in a calm voice once more. "I did not wish for it to come to this. I will try to avoid using my more deadly tactics." He turns to his two companions and motions them forward knowing they had, but one option remaining. He then reaches within his clothing and pulls out his book, his weapon.
"So, negotiating with them was without merit. I suppose we should help since there will undoubtedly be a fight." Richard seemed calm, one reason was the fact that they had the number advantage and the other was the fact they he knew full and well what they were capable of. By a book he once read that meant he had at least a 50% chance of winning a battle.
"Hmph, I figured as much. Let's just get this over with and continue." Henry and his usual tone. Along with his lord he rode to reinforce his allies.

Forth, the offensive republican soldier, lunged at Kaki while still mounted on his horse.
"See this beauty?" he asked. "Her name is Ulurth."
Ulurath, Lvl. 3 weapon, Modus Lvl. 2 weapon. Lvl. 6 attack (Use two weapons.)
Then the large guard attacked.
He totals a 12 with his weak attack.

Then his trust worthy guards follow suit. One, Conore, attacks Lord Richard.
Fode, Lvl. 2 weapon. Lvl. 4 attack (add 5 to dice.)
He dismounted his horse because he was one who preferred to fight on the ground. He ran rather quickly towards Richard with great fury.
Even with his fancy attacks, he only had the power to attack with an 11. Too much eating, not enough fighting xD.
