(Big Word for Road)
Kaki and the group that had followed him without complaints stop for a short break half way into the second day. Kaki got off his horse and patted him and spoke to him in elvish. "Christophe! Be sure to tend the horse. I will prepare the food, and I'm hoping that you, Saya, know how to treat fatigue. All of us and the horses will need it. As for you old man, I expect you to start a fire. It looks as if it could snow."
Then Kaki got off his horse and unloaded some food. "We must restart our journey in about an hour. So let us hurry."

"Sir." A simple confirmation, but orders had been given. He started quickly looking for bits of wood that might be surrounding the area. There wasn't much, but there was enough to have a decent flame for a fair amount of time. He looks toward Kaki before piling it up near the group. All that was left was to start the flame.

Kaki then set up the pots and pans and cooked a nice dinner. Saya finished healing the horses and then gave some potion to the other two travelers. "Eat up, for it may not be until we reach the port when we get the chance to eat again," said Kaki grimly.

He had never actually been to Gambino. It wasn't that he had never wondered what the city was like, he just figured that it was probably wasn't a place where someone like him would fit in. Now that it seemed to be the headquarters for the Republic he would finally get his chance.
He looks at his leader once again out of the corner of his eye. He knew nothing about him say his name, but he felt as though he could serve him loyally. It had yet to be proven otherwise.

Kaki finished up his meal and started to pack things up again. "We should get moving," he said, "the storm looks to be bad." Just as he said that it started to snow big sticky flakes. "I wish to get to the Port before night comes. I hate to stay in the Port. Filled mostly by drink pirates, it is." Then Kaki remounted his noble steed he called his friend and headed towards the port as the snow began to blow and limit visibility.
