Specifically, any X Box owners? I just won an x Box 360, and I'm looking for suggestions on what games I should try! The last game system I owned was the original Playstation, over a decade ago. xD So I'm quite out of touch. So tell me some good ones! Please!

Lucky one. biggrin
I'd recommend the Fable. I haven't myself played it, I'm PS2 user, but game has been commented positively. And not just magazines and articles on papers, but many person too that I've met face to face.

Eirwyn has all the old Sega platforms save the Dreamcast & the 32X.
Nowadays she usually plays a GBA because the old Final Fantasy games are being released on it, as well as the Phantasy Star games (without the most excellent #4, however) and Fire Emblem, Breath of Fire & Golden Sun. It seems even that is being shouldered aside by the DX, however. :X

Oh, I love the old Final Fantasy ones! I actually stopped playing them when they came out with the new ones for the Playstation. -lol- I'll have to look for the re-release collection of the old ones (1 through 6, I think?), I know they did it for Playstation.

We've got all the original GB FF games--FF Legend II was the best! xd --and on the GBA we got the FF I & II. I've seen IV & V...I guess III must be around too.
Another great RPG was Shining in the Darkness for the Genesis. It was a cool first-person-perspective-dungeons game; the last good one like that was the original Phantasy Star! All the graphics in SitD are cartoony & there are some really funny bits thrown in. If you get all the way to the 5th level of the Maze, there are monsters that will give you an Enchanted Box occasionally, & when you open it there are tons of things that could happen, lots of them hilarious whether they hurt your foes or you or both of you! One result causes your enemy to dance uncontrollably to a barn-dance like jig for several seconds. rofl Once when I was sure the end boss was gonna wipe me out, I yanked out the box and tried it on him. He started dancing like crazy! rofl rofl Afterwards he got really mad and smashed me into paste, but it was worth it!

ROFL! That had to have been awesome.

So, I got Assassin's Creed, and N3: Ninety Nine Nights with my gift card. Cuz they're pretty. 4laugh I think Assassin's Creed is going to be a challenge; N3 seems pretty easy so far.

I have and love the Game Cube. I like to play Zelda, Mario Cart, Animal Crossing, and just about all raceing games.

Kay, so I was wrong about the N3 one. It's completely frustrating. stressed

Animal Crossing! I've heard a lot about that. Wonder if they make an XBox version... >.>

Strange. I started Final Fantasy series from VIII, then got my hands on VII (currently playing it again) and little after playing IX and X bought older oldest games too.
That's only game I attempt of owning from a to the b. I still don't have sixth or the newest (eleven and twelve?), but I can wait. Prices are quite high here north and having them now isn't matter of life and death.

You can't buy them already used? Should be a lot cheaper that way, if you don't mind having to clean the fingerprints and whatever else off the discs. xD

And I checked out that Fable game you mentioned, it does look pretty cool. It's in my Amazon shopping cart now. mrgreen

I'm perfectionist to the bone with this subject. Only two of my PS games are bought second handed, but very good condition both. Games are cheaper that way, but its a... Well.. A Thing to take a game of Final Fantasy that no one else has yet touched. I realized that only after you mentioned buying used game. I'm a dragon who loves its treasures.

I have so many systems. Handheld and floor. I even have a 3DO. Old school gamers might know about this one. I actually have a prayer of someone here knowing about it too since it's a geezer place. I love animal crossing. It's strangely addicting. I have it for my DS too. I have been playing my DS and PS2 mostly. A friend got me into Pokemon years ago and now I'm a 40-year-old more into it than my 33yo pal. Whatever. I also am heavily addicted to guitar hero. Once the losses in my life came to my most tragic, I was playing for hours on end to vent emotions. Guitar Hero is excellent for that. What a fantastic win-an x-box 360! Congrats!

Oh, I understand. I'm the same way in that I don't really like to buy used books, unless it's something old that's not being printed anymore. :p

Guitar Hero! That sounds like a lot of fun, something my brother would love since he plays guitar. I've been on the fence about getting Rock Band for the XBox. People keep telling me I HAVE to. xD We'll see!

And, unfortunately, 3DO doesn't ring a bell with me. Maybe I'm too young of a geezer. ):
