Felt like opening upa topic for random discussions about Okami. Things like favorite things to do on the game, the ridiculous amounts of times you fight same enemies/bosses, how awesome (or strange) it is to pee and poop on your enemies, help on certain things, stories about incidents on the game, etc.
One of my favorite things is after getting the fire tablet catching my tail on fire and running around with a burning tail...
and as for a story: I was on Ryoshimu (spelling?) Coast on the end of the concrete pier where the cats are. I hadn't fed the cats yet so I fed them. My mom was watching me and said, "awe, you fed the kitties" so I picked one of them up and my mom said, "awe, you're carrying the kitty" So I walked to the end of the Pier and threw the cat in the ocean. My mom, in a jokingly angry tone said, "YOU THREW THE CAT IN THE OCEAN?!" twisted

eek 0.o You're kinda nuts aren't ya? I don't know who... my mom is practically never around when I play videogames, I think she would go crazy if she did, I believe in the quick and deadly method in games. twisted If it's something that shouldn't be alive and is around me, bye bye! twisted mrgreen

How many times ive been through that game i dont know.....but ive managed to unlock all her forms. I have no life....how sad....so i continue to play it and will be getting it for the Wii when it comes out.....still so sad....but at least i dont play Halo 3 on Xbox live 24/7 like my other friends with tragedically, no lives....

yeah... I'm on second time through just heading to the northern lands... I'm missing about 20 stray beads, and I don't have all the additions to the brush techniques (i.e. power slash 2) which I'm only missing 5 of... and I have all her forms too...

I'm missing like.....5-10 beads.
I really just like to run around the areas since there's so many.
I'm at the last part but i didnt go into the ark so i could look for the beads.

I'm at the last part but i didnt go into the ark so i could look for the beads. I like being the collie..its bark is funny 3nodding yeah it is... the realistic wolf is kinda funny too: excessively realistic wolf running around highly non-realistic world

Only missing seven beads now and two more abilities: snowflake and power slash 3 (I can't get snowflake yet since i'm only at fighting Orochi in the past) blaugh

Using the boxer is funny too, or the mastiff. at the very first boss battle where amaterasu falls down into the spiders lair, I used the collie. Hilarious results! xd
I think the realistic wolf is what Okami was originally gonna look like....
If u unlock teh two bonus videos one of them shows what she might have looked like and thats kinda what the realistic wolf looks like.
I really hope they come out with a second one. If "rising sun" or whatever teh companie's name is really did take over for Clover studios, then maybe they will.....
we can only keep praying to the sun goddess herself rofl

rofl yup... and snowflake... on a walkthrough I read it didn't say where to get it, just how to use it (draw an 'x' in the sky) so me and my paranoia about trusting walkthroughs I'm really not sure =/

just got the blizzard celestial brush techniuque... the 'x' doesn't work... I think what they meant by the snowflake technique was the areas where you draw a line over the 'snowflakes' and make a path of ice. and last four stray beads ^.^ the vase one and the yoshpet race (after completing the shrine), the kamui devil gate series of painstakingly difficult deadly battles (saving that for last), and my next objective: a buried chest somewhere in south wep'keer on a ledge near water...

I enjoyed this game, but I wasn't a major fan of the battle system. Interesting idea, but a bit dull after a while.

That's why I made it cool for myself and use the different weapons techniques on the second and first equip. But yeah, it does get tedious, especially when you find you're so good at the game cuz you wasted your short life playing through it over, and over and over again that you're pretty much unbeatable in every boss and enemy battle. So you go through it again, with the dying hope that the fights might get just a little more difficult, but they don't. Oh, wait......that's just my life...... rofl

yeah... now that I've complete my goal of getting all the stray beads and fought the hardest battle in the game (never want to fight three Nagi's at the same time again) it's kinda like "now what"... I could finish the fish tome... hunt down the animals I haven't fed... or beat the game again and again and again and again and again etc.
