i believe, the fire bending master because zuko would probaly want to start right away for training aang, and i doubt they are going find out about zuko mother until way latter, maybe 2 or 1 episode after this one it would happen.

I think that it would be too soon for either Iroh or Zuko to begin teaching Aang firebending. The entire group would be really suspicious of Zuko and even if they let Zuko into their group, I dont think they would let him firebend for a while. Iroh has no idea where they are and even if he did, it would take Iroh a while to get to the Western Air Temple because he has to go on foot. Even if he is muscled up.

the thing about the firebending masters... id think zuko would tell the gaang all about the white lotus society first. and they met Piandao and have his tile so theyd know zuko wouldnt be lying. either that or once he gets close to them he'll use it as extra leverage.
but i must say, i really wouldnt mind having Ursa be hiding out at the western airtemple. i think if they watched zuko cry over her theyd realize hes good.

yeah, PrettySweet's got a pretty good idea- the whole if-hes-crying-he-must-be-good may work.

I heard somewhere 3.13 was called something like the Jokester or the Jester or something like that. I really can't remember where I saw that, though. I saw it when I was searching for 3.12 (I spent 2 hours combing the internet for it!)

So yeah. But another rumor I heard is the one where ATLA is coming back in 2008.

Warning, this post contains spoilers in white.

Highlight:
Well... judging by chapter 12, Zuko needs to find a way for Katara to trust him, so I like the idea of Zuko seeing his mother and crying, seeing the fact that she's alive.

undead-waffles
spoilers start:

Great episode. Zuko and Aang make a fun team, they have a great older brother-younger brother dynamic. I like how Zuko is still completely in character, but you can tell he's at peace with himself and becoming more like Iroh each day. Sit and contemplate our place in the universe indeed.

The multicolored flames were interesting. Fire nation firebending has traditionally only been fueled by rage, and Azula's blue fire is the purest form of that, which is why she's always been deemed a prodigy. The more hate you have, the more power to draw upon. But the dragons showed that fire isn't just rage, its feeling and life, which includes a whole spectrum of emotion beyond anger. Which means that Azula isn't quite the prodigy she seems. I mean, she's a master of using hatred, but she's also never felt anything besides that, which means she's never going to be able to use the other colors of flame. Zuko didn't have her well of hate to draw from, but now that he knows the truth, his capacity to feel love and happiness should allow him to become even stronger than her.

Its interesting that only waterbending doesn't come from an animal, but rather the waterbenders learned by observing the moon. I guess that makes Yue the ultimate waterbending master.

Those were the dragons from Zuko's dream, right?

The Sun Warriors were really interesting, but I wonder, if the fire nation hasn't always been there (and they were implied to be an entirely separate people, rather than simply descendants of the sun warriors), then where did they come from? It was implied that the swamp benders were related to the water tribe by virtue of bending, but here we have a case of two entirely separate people bending the same element.

I kinda wanted Zuko to get a dragon of his own to ride, as fanboyish and imbalancing as that would be.

Iroh, even when not present, is utterly the man. I really, really hope one of the remaining episodes is devoted entirely to his past. Lu Ten, the Dragons, his journey into the spirit world...there's just so much. HP ended by giving us Dumbledore's entire history, I sure would like to see Iroh's.

Also, I want Zuko to develop a technique all his own, or at least, one unavailable to Aang. The other bending specialists, Katara and Toph, are pretty clearly a notch above Aang in their particular element. Katara has bloodbending and healing, and Toph has metalbending. Zuko needs a trump card. Whether a new color flame, lightning, or something entirely different like Sozin's heat redirection, I want to see him separate himself from Aang

I can't seem to reason why they would stretch out the episodes so far apart. In my mind it doesn't make much sense. It just makes the fans less patient and less interested in the show.

* Ok, in a scene from episode 313, there's this spike trap on the ground. Instead of picking his way through the spikes, Zuko runs along the wall to the other side, just like it's done in Prince of Persia. *

I had an uber geek-out moment when I saw it. Did anyone else think the same thing when they saw that scene?

so now that aang has mastered the 4 elements...we have 7 episodes so my guess is that he is going to get side tracked with something
