This is kind of a random topic to make, but I have dial-up, and it's making me really mad. I feel like I can't do anything. Can't watch videos, can't go on Gaia Towns, my pictures are fuzzy...
I'm an ungrateful little twerp. stressed I should just be happy to have Internet at all. My neighborhood doesn't even get broadband or anything, and even if it did, my parents would pay for it. But I like to complain.
And yeah, I'm kind of bored today. redface
Does anyone else have dial-up?

I have wireless, or whatever
it's called. I used to have
dial-up, though, and it totally
sucked.
In my house, the Internet is
stronger in some parts than
in others, so I keep having to
move my laptop around in
order to get the fastest Internet.
When we're not on vaction, I
usually just take my computer
to school, because the Internet
is wayyy better there, and it's
a lot quieter xDDD

I don't have dial up,
but my computer gets angry and quits everything I'm doing whenever I try to watch videos or go on gaia town.
=P
Sail-Ups sucks though.
I'm sorry that you have to have it.

I got it back in August
Before that I had cable...
So faaaast

I hardly go on the internet anymore
Because I have dial up

I am working on that minor problem...I too have no way to get DSL.
However, soon I should have a greater wifi range with my laptop once I get an extender.
I too feel very cheated, but grateful that I do have internet and can use it. smile

I used to have dial-up, and trust me, I hated it with a passion. But my current internet is -like- dial-up anyways, because we are up in the middle of nowhere and we're in the far outskirts of internet provider service :/

I havent had dial-up in years and years. We have cable thorugh the same people as our phone/tv service. I barely remember hating diap-up; other than people needing to use the phone and booting me off the internet.
Question: Gaia's forums are graphic intensive..do you dial-upper's get better speeds when/if you disable images?

Spindra Can you do that? I would never though, I likez my images, even though they take a long time to load!
Web Developer plugin for Firefox lets you, or you can get the plugin called 'MyImageHere' and save the gaia images to your computer and replace them..so it would load common things like the quote buttons and header images instantly and your bandwidth could be spent just on dynamic things like avvie images.
Wow, I feel like a total geek.
