Settled between the sky scraper stylized buildings of Durem lies Darkskye. It's victorian yet gothic architecture classic and yet secretive. Once through the glass french doors lies small secluded tables and shelves lining the upper walls. The twisted metal stair case situated near the back, the patron's only option for reaching the books and balcony above. Hiding several more quaint tables. The bar meanwhile sits to the left of the french doors, a series of barstools of varying heights dotting it's length.

Less than a block away, the three came into existence. as her boots settled into the city streets, Kalie silently said goodbye to Alex. Casting no more than a slightly pleasant look towards Nik. What was she really supposed to say to him? Turning from the pair she began to fade away as she walked. Her lips moving quietly while she clenched the jewel within her palm. The destination this time would be from her past. A shared past.

Nik stiill clang to Alex, though as she walked away and disappeared, and slowly relaxed, though not pulling away. This kinda felt nice. He rarely held close to someone, save when they were doing things between bedsheets, but now he just liked it. He sighed in contentment.

Coughing softly, Alex gently made to release his arm of Nik's presence while walking toward the alley's end. The cafe should, if she got it right be just around the corner. "Bumpy ride?" He chuckled making light of the situation, when truthfully he didn't mind Nik's proximity.

He smiled, and continued to hold close, not letting go. "A bit." Slowly he relaxed, leaning up to hug him. "Thanks for letting me hold on. Just.. a little problem of mine."

He nodded. "No problem.." Alex returned the hug somewhat resistantly, as if he wasn't sure of himself. "We should head inside."

He slowly pulled away, and blushed, looking to the ground. "So, why'd you want to come here?" He glanced up for a moment, his cheeeks a nice red.

"You picked cafe, I thought this one would be less.. stressful?" Alex emerged from the alley and smiled inwardly at Nik's reaction, the faint outline of a smirk present.

"What I mean is like... Why'd you want to go out? Did you wanna go with me? Or did ya just bring me along?" He seemed to become bashful and timid, rater than his normal self.

Alex shrugged. "I thought her original intent was that the two of you could talk, but since you're repulsed by her presence. Its just us." The doors to the cafe only a couple feet away as he trudged along. "I don't mean that in a bad way." Alex meant the last part, the mixed emotions on his part were just confusing.

"I just... hate women. It's a long story." He winced a bit, and shifted on his feet. He moved ahead of the other to open the door and let the other in first.

Alex sighed, that was going to be a touchy subject on all sides. Getting an explanation from Nik, and the horrid possibility that he might have to take an attempt at explaining to someone else. "Thanks." Walking by, he stooped off to the side, observing the hand written boards above the bar. "Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, frozen, hot, cold.. anything peak your interest? " He glanced back at Nik.

"Can I have some tea?" He watched the other. Jeez he seemed to become dependant once in a while. Who knew why.

Stepping up to the bar, he made a few requests of the cashier and handed over enough bills to cover it. Turning around, Alex's eyes traveled over Nik before dawning on reality. He truly had intended to ask something. "Upper floor, or lower?"
