The femme's eyes narrowed at the setting sun...that was an inconveinance. Her sleepy time was over, she wished she could bathe in the warmness of the sun more often so she could sleep. But night approached and it was time for her to awake from this cat nap. She sighed softly, she wasn't used to getting up early. Her eyes drooped and she just wanted some freaking peace and quiet. Did she get it usually, no. She loved her sleep more than anything else and that was the one thing that was most mistreated by her.

She slammed her head into the tree hoping it would bring the sun back up, but it only gave her a slight head ache and a pile of snow on her rump. Snow? She looked to the grass, nosing at it...frost. How she hated it. She loved the bitter winter but hated frost with a passion. The weather to her was incompetent. If it didn't fancy her fashion it was an abomination and thats how things rolled.

Large magenta wings stretched out, and the mutant let out a long yawn, his own sleep having been disturbed by the winter's cold setting in as the shadows overtook the land. The sunlight was fleeting, and it was time to rise once more, and go out to do whatever the hell it was his mother expected of him. She had raised him, taught him, then left him. What he was supposed to do, he wasn't sure, but resolved at least, to search out and find the father he'd once met long ago as a foal. If anyone knew anything, it was Plague.

Light colored eyes were relieved the bright sun had set, and striped hooves made their trek through the snow and across the field. What was in store for him this evening, he didn't know, but he'd eventually find out.

She nosed at her leathered wings, it seemed as if a few ice sickles had wanted to grown from her feathered parts, she decided to let them alone as if she attempted to pluck them out it would also take her feathers out too. She didn't want that. Though preening might get them out, she nipped at her own feathers and breathed hot air on them though she found it to be to much work.

Before she decided to go back to sleep, she decided to get to her legs and get a move on. Her spotted, spaded tail swayed behind her. A thin later of vellus hair was about all that covered it. She blinked, her winter coat was coming through, thank god. She didn't want to be freezing her a** of this winter. But something, made her stop in her tracks someone else was here. And she wanted to know for how long but even so they seemed at some amount of a distance, she still couldn't tell and perhaps thats what bothered her the most.

His eyes were still adjusting from his long afternoon nap, and the young mutant stretched out his legs as he made his way across the field. Judging from his nearby surroundings, there wasn't any sign of life to be had. Which meant one of two things... either the creatures of the field and forest were aware of his presence, or there was another nearby that they feared.

His ears perked at the thought, listening intently for a possible sound from any other beast that might be lurking close by. He hadn't caught a scent of one, but then again the chill in the winds might have prevented his young nostrils from seeking out another creature.

Pink eyes roamed while his purple feathers rested against his sides. Was there something out there?

She snorted softly as she reared and followed the scent at a favorable distance. Her white coat could be consider a ghost at her speed besides the flash of black from her mane. She slowed to a trot coming around full circle.

Whatever it was she was following it now. She moved head, stealthy, stalking as a feral look crossed her eyes. She soon found the perpatraitor. One of kalona blood, dark with markings of the color of a setting sky on the cold winter nights. She watched him as she snuck closer but not to close. Now she stood wondering how long it'd take the young stallion to notice she was their.
