I was just wondering...which is better: a spyder or an Empire Invert mini?

Well generally the Mini would be considered to be better. Though there is an obvious price range diffrence between the two that seperates them alone.
The Spyder series generally considered to be a Starting players marker and the Mini being a Entry-level Tournament marker. Both also host a diffrent list of features as well that seperates them.

My honest advice, don't buy the Mini... i used one the other day and flat out hated it... if you want to spend about that price, look into a PMR with UL frame. the price of a PMR is now down to 250 and you can find them with UL frames for like $300 new...
Good luck... and yes, a Mini is, hands down and tied, better than a Spyder.. VS series included.

I own a mini and i personally love it. It is realy light, and has a great trigger, one i pair it up with my new Magna with RF chip it will be insane. The only problem is that the barrel isnt that accurate, but what stocl barrel really is, and i am conparing this to my old freak jr.

Thanks everyone for all of your opinions. I Guess though, that it's not really a fair comparison. oh well i decided to buy the mini anyway. And for those of you who care, I'm naming it sasha. I'll try to get a pic up in my profile. probably won't be until spring though. I'll see you then! wink

Uh oh! That stinks... I'm sure they could order another one... make sure you stay away from the orange though... thats a protected color in tournaments.

Neither...buy my ion. XD 10x sexier than a mini and cheaper. And will perform better. (It's better than a spyder too.)

... He has a point. I can vouch for this gun. Its sexy as hell, pretty light, not a stock part other than the bolt. Seen three or four tournaments and performed flawlessly every event as well as COUNTLESS days of recball.
