I do hope I'm posting this in the correct area. If not, I apologize. I just wanted to introduce myself.

My name is Thomas and I'm 30 years old. Denominationally wise, I'm Charasmatic/Pentecostal. To those that don't know what that means, some call us Holy Rollers. Clapping, dancing, singing...the whole 9 yards, excluding snake handling.

I'm not too fond of "denominations" in general. I feel they're more like walls of the church. We all have the same foundation and that's Christ. Just because one may pray or praise the Lord differently does not mean it's not of the Lord. We are told NOT to quench the Holy Spirit, to test all things. Each one of us has different gifts. Some are called to teach, to witness, etc - just as there are different spiritual gifts.

I have a few pet peeves as well. I'll just list off one for now. Planned Revivals. The mere thought of it makes it feel like they're trying to control the movement of the Lord when in fact it doesn't begin through planning, but in your heart. If you want a revival, look into yourself and serve the Lord. Revival will always be with you, no matter where you go or what you do. The manifestation of the Holy Spirit is a gift, not a tool to be passed around.

Study wise, I am into end-time prophecy. This includes listening to a lot of the Short Wave radio. Lots of things going on, especially when the American news companies are black-balled on things going on in the EU..... Also, I am no longer a pre-tribber, more along the lines of pre-wrath. What this means is that I no longer follow the pre-trib rapture belief. However, if it comes, I won't be complaining one bit. lol.

Well, I believe I've written enough for now. It's a pleasure meeting you all. And don't mind me - I tend to be long-winded.
