Bobbing for Apples Contest
Number of People Per Team: No Team Needed
This is the Sports Festival Bobbing for Apples Contest. You can pop-in and compete at anytime as the winner will be determined at the end of the festival by whichever indivvidual who grabs the most apples is the winner.

Rules:
You can not double-post, you have to wait at least one hour between your posts.
In order to win you must be the shinobi or kunoichi that grabs the most apples in one go.
Unlike the other contests each character only gets one bob. So when you roll your 10-sided dice, whatever you roll is however many apples you caught during your turn.
Since each character only gets one shot there are two prizes, first for the individual(s) that get the most apples, and secondly for the Country that gets the most acculumated apples.
Be sure to state what Country your character belongs too and keep a running consistant total for how many total your Country has won. Akatsuki all go to their Organization, but secretly, each of your Patrons has probally threatened/bribed you that you should be better than the other Patron's shinobi. biggrin

Zanzu yawned a little as he looked down at the pool of apples. Then with almost expert levels began to bob his head into the water pulling out several apples. He should have been able to get more but...well...he was feeling a bit hungry and was always fond of apples...

((Yay we can roll again))
Mai walked in to the Apple Bob contest and placed her hair up in a bun. Holding it in place with a pen from the hospital she drove into the barrel and went right to work.....
However, she spent far too much time just trying to get the first apple (as well as not drown due to her dilligence) and was only able to fetch one last one before the time expired.
Wiping her face off with the towel she exclaimed, "That was tough!!"

Tyson walked up to the barrel looking confident as he exclaimed, "for the leaf!" After which he quickly dunked his head into the barrel, attempting to get as many apples as possible. Which was apparently only one since he came up not too long after he went under choking on a mixture of water and apple.

Ayumi carefully tied her hair back behind her head before she stepped up to the large barrel. As the start was announced she dipped her head into the barrel.
Quickly she pulled out the first apple then the second then third, but the fourth caught her up. Finally she got it and went for the fifth just as time was up.
Stepping away from the barrel, she turned and walked off the stage without saying anything. However, her shadow rose up and turned into a shadowy, but completely identifical, image of herself that gave a formal bow before disappearing.

Ryo stepped up to the barrel stretching his neck, you could hear the bones cracking as he did so. As soon as he was told to start his head was in the barrel and back out in two seconds with two apples at once he went under again getting a thrid, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, and eight apple before time ran out. Proud of how well he did he thrust his fist into the air with a shout, "Yeah!"

Yukika walked up tot he barrel, shaking her hands above her head like a champion boxer, grinning wildly. She waited for the signal, then dove her head in as soon as she was told go!
However, her hair kept distracting her, getting in her way...She popped out one apple, her hair getting in the way each time between dives in. She only managed three by the time that time was up..
She shook her hair, slinging water. "Such a pain...I didn't do so well"
