I was sick the last few days, and with nothing to do but sleep and stare mindlessly at a screen, I decided to play a little KOTOR. This is a game I hadn't played in a while because of it's age, but as the hours dragged on I realized just how great this game was. Anyways I'm posting this so we can all talk about games that we loved, but just haven't played in awhile.

KOTOR remains to be one of my favorite games of all time. It was so well made, I enjoyed every part of it (well except for all the times I died the first time I played lol).
Awww now I wanna go and play it, I need to take my X-box out again and play some good old KOTOR.
I hope the 3rd one comes out soon but I doubt it, the last time I looked it up apparantly they just started to make the game....it's going to months/years before it comes out cry

I just replayed a good long chunk of KOTOR as well fairly recently. Oh, sweet nostalgia.
I heard KOTOR has supposed to come out sometime in early 2008, so that wouldn't be that far away if it's true. However, after the recent Bioware/EA merger, I don't know if that upset the project or delayed it in anyway...haven't heard anything new in a while. sad Here's hoping it'll be out sooner rather than later.

Don't be too surprised if Kotor 3 turns out to be a MMO.
and to be quite honest it would be very smart of them to do it, considering SOE messed up Star Wars Galaxies so badly and on top of that they are going to lose the licensing rights to SWG here within the next two years I believe.
I just find it convienant that Bioware gets bought out by EA, and in addition is partnering with Lucas Arts for a "untitled" MMO. However I would expect rather Kotor 3 will be an mmo or not will come very early next year.

KotOR.. wow, what's not to love about that game? I played it to death and beyond. I still giggle every time I get Carth to break out that line about spanking. >.>;
I tried my hand at a novelization, but I lost the drive about 4 chapters in. I've not written it off entirely yet, though. I just need to find my inspiration again.
