The wind blew lightly making everything sway peacefully. A young boy stared up at the sky with a sad expression on his face. His arms laid limp at his sides. His white shorts covered in grass stains while the sweat cover his body. His black hair drenched in a mixture of sweat and water. A soccer ball sat next to his feet with a black jersey partially covering it. The ball beaten and torn from the continuous kicking. The scene was serene.
The black haired boy turned slowly to see a girl running towards him. Her long black hair following behind gracefully. She smiled and waved at him. She placed her hands on both sides of her mouth to channel her voice in his direction, “Brother! We need to go! We'll miss our flight!” A smile tugged on his lips. He quickly reached down to grab both the jersey and ball running towards the young girl that had been waiting for him. His black hair pushed back with the wind in his face showing off his deep sapphire blue eyes. As he reached her, he placed his arm around her neck and laughed, “Alright then, lets get movin'.”
During that time, he thought the move and inheritance wouldn't change anything... but he was horribly wrong. For both things caused him to take on a different perspective of the world and how it ran. His family wasn't so close anymore. They say the grass is always greener on the other side, but not for Ryuuzaki...

Ryuuzaki acts like a tough strong guy and a total flirt at times. Completely charismatic. He likes going by Ryuu, but doesn't mind people calling him by Ryuuzaki, Kusanagi, and even RJ at times. Ryuu is completely horrible at math, but he can at least pull low A in the class. He's usually found playing soccer or lounging at home making plans for work-outs. Even though he isn't the smartest person out there, he has fun no matter what. He's a child at heart and can never focus on one thing for too long except for soccer. He's extremely outspoken and doesn't pay much attention to other people's feelings, but he never means to hurt anyone in what he says. Ryuuzaki never quit first in any argument, usually; also accompanied with a somewhat short temper. The littlest things said or done and tick him off, but at times he can keep his cool. During school he's usually found the center of attention talking to everyone. He comes off as a nice guy who cares about everyone and everything, but in reality, he could care less.
Since he doesn't have any quality time with his family he doesn't really think about the honor or reputation of his name. To him, why care about something if it doesn't mean anything to you. When he was younger he played the perfect boy who'd do anything to please his parents, but when they paid less and less attention to him, he gave up pleasing them and went to just pleasing himself. At heart he's still a child and a commoner. He loves having fun and being rebellious. On the other hand he still dresses like a “commoner” when he's not a parties or high status things. He'll talk to anyone of any class, even commoners. He doesn't understand why such things really matter and tends to get into trouble for it.
Before he earned his high status he was what he came off to be. The perfect son and loyal friend. He played soccer, went paint balling, hung out, watched movies with his friends. Everything you could think of, he did with his friends (fun things, not illegal/naughty/dirty things xDD). Ryuu didn't pretend or acted like he cared. He actually did care.
The only other thing that didn't change in him was his secret love for drawing and writing. He doesn't draw often, but when he does it's alone in his room so no one can find out. As for writing, he'll start randomly writing down ideas, poems, and even songs on homework or notes.

His hair is dyed cyan/bright blue and always styled in a faux hawk. He has deep sapphire blue eyes and is pale/Caucasian. Ryuuzaki is roughly 5'6'' with an athletic build. Also, he is rarely ever seen without his black square sunglasses. He'll even wear them in class.

Father: Juichiro Kusanagi;
He was a commoner with the talent for soccer. Now he's the owner of the Urawa Reds and stays in Saitama away from his family. He keeps pushing Ryuuzaki to become better at soccer, but at times he doesn't see when he pushes to hard and makes Ryuuzaki want to quit.
Mother: Misako Kusanagi;
Ryuuzaki's mother is the only child of her parents. She was to inherit her family's law firm in Tokyo and Osaka, but because she decided to marry, Juichiro, Ryuuzaki's father, she was ripped of her status and disowned by her parents. Yet, in the end, she inherited because he parents trusted her more than her cousin.
Sister: Reiko Kusanagi;
Is the younger sister of Ryuuzaki. She only one year younger than him (16-years-old). She was a sweet and innocent girl back in Saitama. She had gotten picked on quite often when she was younger, but Ryuuzaki was always there to stand up for her. Now she has built up a fortress around herself and is quite “stuck-up” in other peoples eyes. She speaks roughly around five languages (French, German, Japanese, English, and sign language).

Ryuuzaki was born and raised in Saitama, Japan. His father, Juichiro Kusanagi played for Urawa Reds in his prime years and was good friends with the owner. His mother on the other hand was a run-of-the-mill lawyer while his younger sister an exceptional artist on her free time. Even though both of his parents made a large quantity of money, they were still considered commoners. Ryuuzaki started playing soccer when he was roughly five because his father wanted him and he had the blood in him that gave him great potential, but hanging around his sister a lot also got him in the habit of drawing.
Ryuuzaki and his sister, Reiko attended the same schools. Being a year apart from each other, they were never found apart. Ryuu was extremely protective of her. She had gotten picked on many times, so Ryuu confronted them and beat them to a bloody pulp. He had a reputation for starting fights, but his parents never got a whiff of it. His cover up story had always been soccer and being extremely charismatic always helped him persuade his parents.
When his father grew older and his body couldn't handle the professional league anymore, he retired. Yet, soon after his retirement the owner of the team had fallen ill and passed away soon after. The will had stated that Juichiro, Ryuuzaki's father would gain ownership to the team because the owner had full faith that he could lead the team to victory and Juichiro had always been by his side when they were children. The inheritance of the team didn't change his life much because the team was stationed in Saitama.
A few years passed and Ryuuzaki was nearing the end of his first year in high school when he found out his mother had inherited the law firms from her parents. They had let Ryuuzaki and his sister finish their school years before moving them to Tokyo. Ryuuzaki's child-like attitude provided him with the false hope and pretense that nothing would change once they moved. It was that attitude that created Ryuuzaki's mask.
Once they had gotten settled in his family wasn't the same. His father had to stay back in Saitama because of the team. His mother was flying back and forth from Tokyo and Osaka. As for his sister, she locked herself up in her room all the time to study. His mother had already declared her the heir to her law firms because she knew Ryuuzaki could do it because all he'd every be was a jock.
Ryuuzaki doesn't spend any time with any of his family. His father comes over for holidays, but that's it. Ryuu's mother on the other hand is usually in and out of the house before you could say anything. Lastly, his sister just comes home from Lobelia and heads straight for her room. He doesn't sulk about it; just goes on sitting on the couch, goes workout, or goes to his room and sits there drawing or writing.
Now that Ryuuzaki has seen the full mess that the move and inheritance caused he admits he liked it better before. Before he had money. Before he had a high status. When his father was just a professional soccer player and his mother just another run-of-the-mill lawyer. He thinks having money and status is nice and all, but it doesn't make the world go 'round for him. The grass was definitely a lot more greener on the other side, but not so enjoyable or better in his mind.
