Haki peeked at the water below him, blue eyes showing the fascination at the fish. But it wasn't them that had brought him here - No, it had been the bubble of the water, the music in the air. The cub, identical to his middle brother, had a passion for music. He heard it all around, singing in the trees s the wind went by. It was in the way rocks hit the ground, how the prey beasts called to each other. It was... Everywhere. The deep chocolatey-brown cub reached a paw down, gently patting the water. Even the ripples had music! He let out a sigh, laying there blissfully.

Dark blue tail tip swaying behind him, Taichi wandered the Pridelands. His father had finally decided to let him wander on his own, which made the cub a bit more... Pleasant. He hated being restricted to one place. Lilac ears flicking back, the almost entirely white cub let out a grunt. He was jealous, always, of his brother. Mehlor had wing markings like their mother, which made the older cub jealous. He didn't like it in the least. Still... He couldn't help it. He paused, red eyes narrowing. A dark smudge by the water made him aproach, trying to see who it was. The sight that greeted him was a dark chocolate-brown cub with khaki markings and black hair. Growling a bit, and in quite the sour mood, he went running over.

The rogue-born cub didn't know he was being approached until he was rammed into. A yelp escaped as he flew out over the water, paws flailing. As he hit the water, he got a slight glimpse of who had run into him. But he didn't get a good look until he surface, paws smacking the water wildly. "Why did you do that?!" Ears back, he struggled to reach the bank.

Tai snorted, watching the other cub. "Because I could, and because you're just a weakling!" The pale cub paced, glaring at the struggling rogue. No, Tai was nothing like his parents or brother. Despite being so young, he was cruel and cold-hearted. There was just no explaining why. He sat down, just sitting back to let the other cub struggle.

Finally pulling himself out of the water, Haki threw a glare at the other cub. "Who's to say I'm a weakling? I'm bigger than YOU are." Then again, he was also a bit older, more than likely. He shook out his fur, trying to get his mane clear of water. "Who are you, anyway? And what gives you the right to shove others?" Normally sweet-tempered, being shoved had gotten the cub's blood boiling, so to say.

The paler cub narrowed his eyes again before bounding over, ramming into the other cub yet again. He didn't knock him into the water again, though, but instead into a bush. "I'M to say you're a weakling! You're just a rogue who has to come into OUR lands to take OUR stuff!" He glared, tail lashing. "Why should I even tell you who I am, anyway?"

Haki was the one to glare this time, blue eyes narrowed. "You need an attitude adjustment - Do you greet your mother like that?" He detangled himself from the bush, brushing the leaves from his mane. "Even your family was a bunch of rogues once, yano. Rogues begot the prides, and then deemed themselves above rogues, just because they had a pride for safety." He puffed up a bit, frowning. "And you should tell me who you are because it's the NICE thing to do."

Tai scowled, pacing back and forth. "Do you greet YOUR mother with your ugly?" The comment earned him being pounced, tumbling into another bush. With a growl, Tai bit onto the other cub's limb, tiny cub-claws trying to claw the other up. "Gerroff me!" Such a bothersome rogue, couldn't he see that he didn't belong in a place like the Pridelands?

A growl and then yelp escaped Haki as he was bitten and clawed. Bothersome Pridlenader! "Tell me who you are and I'll get off!" The rogue rolled, kicking a bit at the other cub. He was getting the feeling that this was a cub who would grow into a lion you didn't want to mess with. Even when blood was getting drawn by the biting, Haki didn't let up. "Just tell me your name!"

Tai growled, eyes almost feral. The rogue refused to give up, and even he had to admire that. Finally, he let go, trying to shove the other off. "FINE! It's Taichi! Now get OFF of me!" Struggling to get free, Tai succeeded in tumbling into a mud patch next to the pond. His pristine white coat...! He glared at the other cub anew, a snarl on his maw. "You'll pay for this..."

Huffing and puffing a bit, Haki tumbled back. Looking at Tai, he couldn't help but start to laugh. He looked so rediculous, covered in mud like that! His laughter was rewarded with a splattering of mud in his face. Whiping a paw across his face, he blinked. That was... Unexpected...

It was Tai who was laughing now, but it wasn't a malicious laughter. It was genuine cub laughter, the laughter of somebody who was having fun. It was cut short by the other cub tackling him into the mud, and the two were soon rolling around. Now claws or teeth were used this time as they tried to land mock-blows. Only when they rolled into the water did the mock-fight end. Whiping mud and water away, Tai eyed the darker cub. "Okay, you know my name. What's yours, rogue?"

The dark cub whiped some mud off his coat, utilizing the fact they were in the water. "Oh, me? I'm Haki." He noticed, as he got the mud off, the bite marks and scratches Tai had left in his pelt. His ears flattened back a bit. "Oh, no... Now I can't play twin swap with my brother any more!" At the odd look, Haki explained, "I have an identical twin! Other than the marks you left on me... We're exactly the same." Except, they were drastically different in personality. He dipped his paw in the water, then scrubbed off the rest of the mud. No sense in having to have his mother bathe him...

Tai looked at Haki strangely. What a concept... IDENTICAL twins? He'd seen the twin heirs before... From a distance, of course. He didn't see what was so special, really.... Taking a moment to clean the mud off. Ew, mud... "I don't think I can say sorry for biting you... You DID attack me." He licked his lips, feeling a shiver. Actually... The blood had tasted good... Tai eyed Haki, wondering if his twin tasted as good. He blinked, shaking his head. What odd thoughts! "I got no twin, just a younger brother. We don't look much alike... All we got in common is the marking on our forheads and we have blue tail hair. You got more than just a twin?"

Haki felt a shiver go up his spine, but for a very different reason. That look... It was unsettling. "You bumped me into the pond and a bush, I had every right..." He climbed out, shaking water off. "I got another younger brother and two sisters. I think something's different about my little brother, though. He's... Odd... I can't explain it." Something about his rythem was different from the rest of his sibblings, as well as their aunts and uncles. Now that was a fun one to explain... Same age as your aunts and uncles...
