I just wondered what everyone thinks this could be.
For about ten years, this (creature?) has been hanging out around my house. It wasn't really noticeable at first, and my mindset is pretty much "I don't believe in it unless I see something" type of thing.
Well, it started hanging around more. And my friends were seeing it for awhile, and it started walking around and my family saw it too. We got a recording of it a year or two ago on accident and it knew our names. It sounded like a young male.
We also hear sometimes classical music playing at random points in the house, mostly from the attic. Plus, I've heard more then seven times cell phones go off. Odd, I know, but the cell phone is never one I've ever heard before. In fact I tried chasing down where the ring was coming from once and I couldn't find it. Sounded like it was coming from the attic, though. No one goes in the attic.
A lot of spooky stuff has happened in the house and pertaining to me, but I wonder first of all: What sort of ghost has its own number? And two: What sort of ghost influences dreams? And three: What sort of ghost can travel?
Yes, I said travel. I went somewhere for a week, and the spooky things didn't start happening until the third day and it felt peaceful for the first few days. If it had been a poltergeist or a ghost haunting me it wouldn't have waited that long trying to find me.
Nothing significant ever happened in my house. I wonder what it could be. Friends have suggested real vampires, not physic vampires (but do they exist?), or incubi/succubi (huh?), guardian angel (but he really doesn't act like a friendly angel) and occasionally friendly demon (I've looked them up: apparently the earlier daemons weren't mean) but I really don't know. If you have any ideas or information on any of the above suggestions, I'd be extremely thankful. biggrin
I do have more stories regarding it, but I assume this would be enough to identify it.

First thing I would do would be to search the attic. You never know what you might find. It might also clear up a few things.
A lot of ghosts can effect dreams. Speaking to the living through dreams is one of the classic ways ghosts or angels use.
A ghost can, in theory, move around where ever it wants if it's not earth bound.
It could just be a normal ghost or spirit. It could be mimicing the sound of a phone to get your attention and if it hasn't really done to harm or alarm you that just leave it be. You don't say it's really done anything shocking, it could have lived in your house before you and just really liked the house and hungs around it now.
