Q: What is a 'Serpenti'?
A: Serpenti are a breed of Naga - Human torso, snake-like tail.
Q: Where do they come from?
A: From no world we're familiar with, though their world is similar in ways to our own.
Q: Well, tell me about their world.
A: That's not really a question - but okay. <3 The Serpenti dwell in communities...Clans, as it were. There're mountain clans, valley clans, desert clans, coastal clans. Each clan is made up of several families - None outranking the other, as the heads of families create a sort of ruling in their own right. Clans are threatened by few things, the most destructive being the falcons, which are breeding much faster than the Serpenti, and causing Serpenti numbers to drop.
Q: Falcons??
A: Yes. Falcons. But none like you or I would be familiar with. The falcons that threaten the Serpenti clans are enormous. Large enough to clutch a fullgrown male Serpenti in it's tallon.
Q: So what's the deal with this place?
A: The Sanctum has been established in a magical barrier, not in the Serpenti's natural world, but not in the world A'ni dwells from. The world they're being brought to is a place where the Falcon do not threaten them, but is also a place where they can continue on the rotation of life~
