Bad news (for me, not you) my computer has died, this is only working because of some disk called Ubuntu, and apparently my hard drive may have to be reset if the problem can't be solved, which will be devastating, as have only backed up about 8 out of my hundreds of photo's

I never back up my files so when that happens I lose everything

sad Oh no! Scary! I am sooo bad at backing up. One of my hard drives recently went -kerplooey- I'm just so glad it came back on long enough for me to move everything. sweatdrop

you may be able to see if you can get some help backing up your photos. I know there is a way to do it in safe mode. it's tedious, but you don't lose all your info.
