BIO: Akiko was born in Okinawa Japan, then her family moved to America. She and her family then moved from America to Domini City, Japan about 6 months ago. She has a few friends, which is enough for her. She started hanging around Joey and Yugi's group. She does well in school, very well at that. She wants to be in the medical field when she's older- a nurse to be precise. She loves video games, and other games. She also loves to sing and play guitar.
PERSONALITY: Akiko is nice, fun, and outgoing towards people she knows. She is shy around new people. She cares a lot, which makes it hard for her to get angry. However, when she does get angry, it's like a storm. She doesn't tell people about her problems, she'd rather bottle them up.

Bio: Sam is Seto and Mokuba's sister. She was separated from her brothers when she was adopted from the orphanage. She was adopted into a rich family. But she didnt see any money or was given anything nice. She was basically adopted to be the family's servent. When she turned 15 Seto found her and paid the family to disown her so she could live with him and Mokuba. She got her last name changed to Kaiba soon after. She met Atem, Joey and their friends through her brothers. (We'll just pretend she was there through everything). She imediately felt something strong for Atem but was oblivious to his feelings. Also since he had been in Yugi's body she didnt think they had a chance. So when Joey asked her out she agreed but they're more like best friends then boyfriend and girlfriend.
Personality: Sam is tough and independent but is pretty obediant when it comes to her older brother Seto. She likes to have fun but she respects and admire Seto so much so she tries to act a bit like him. She has a short temper.

Sam sat on her couch in the Kaiba mansion. She had her legs crossed and her feet up on the table. She wore a black muscle shirt and some gray sweat pants. Her hair was thrown up in a ponytail and she wore a silver cartuche with her name on it in heiroglyphs around her neck. She was eating chips and salsa and drinking soda as she watched tv. One thing her and her boyfriend definately had in common was their love of food. Speaking of which she had invited him and his friends over to hang out today. But of course he was late. She expected it now, Joey was always late for everything.
Seto walked inthe livingroom, raising an eyebrow at his sister. "What are you doing?" He asked and narrowed his eyes about the answer he recieved. "Stop inviting them over. I'm so sick of having those losers in my house." He growled out.
"Hey, I invited your girlfriend too so be happy. You should really spend more time with her." Sam said. "And theyre not losers." She defended.
Seto roleld his eyes. "Whatever, I'll be in my office." He said and walked up the stairs.
Yugi stood in front of his bed, his hands on his hips as he looked puzzledly down at the many outfits he layed out. "Ok...I have to pick out the perfect outfit... hmmm...ah... uh... this is too hard..." He was getting ready to go to Sam's with everyone but was having a hard time deciding what to where. After all his crush was going to be there. And even though she is dating Kaiba Yugi would always support her and be there for her. He finally picked out an outfit and looked in the mirror. "I hope she likes it..." He said sadly to himself, tilting his head to the side, wondering if she could possibly think of him as anything other then a friend.

Atem was brushing out his hair in his own room. When he and Yugi seperated and he gained his own body, he became part of his family. Grandpa had another room that they fixed up for him. He looked at the mirror, rubbing any creases out from his black tank-top. He wore dark blue jeans that fit nicely, as well as a jean jacket. He wanted to look good, but he scolded himself for the reasons. He had to get over the fact that Joey was going out with her. He still had feelings for her, but he felt guilty for them. "I can't do that to my friend. He got to her first. Besides, he didn't know," he said to himself as he looked at his puzzle. He never did tell anybody. He left his room and walked over to Yugi's room. He knocked on the door, "Yugi?"
Joey walked up to the Kaiba's mansion. He knew he was late, Sam told him to come earlier then the others. But she wouldn't mind, right? He knocked on the door then put his hands into his pockets. He wore a T-shirt and jeans that were breaking at the bottom. A servent came and opened the door for him, "Hey, thanks there!" He strolled into the living room, "Hey there Sam!" He sat next to her.
Akiko took her bicycle out from the garage and began riding from her house to the Kaiba mansion. She wore a tank-top with her star hoody, as well as baggy green cargo pants. She fixed her hat for a second, then continued riding. She was contemplating whether or not to stop at Yugi and Atem's house. She sweatdropped, "Maybe I'll actually catch Seto." She decided to go to the mansion. She stopped and kicked the kick stand up. She felt nervous, her and Seto have been going out for three days and they really haven't spent time together.

Sam smiled when Joey walked in and sat next to her. "Hey." She leaned over and gave him a kiss on the cheek. They were never very intamate like she would like. Joey just didnt seem very attracted to her. They were close though. Just not very close romantically. "Help yourself." She said refering to the food on the table. she took her feet down from the table.
Seto came down the stairs in a white suit. He glared at Joey. "Sam you know I dont allow animals on the furniture." He said just to irritate the blonde. He stopped infront of a mirrir and fixed his tie before picking up his brief case, ready to go.
Sam rolled her eyes, thinking 'here we go again'. They were always fighting. She just wished they could get along.
Yugi opened the door, smiling at Atem. Atem was like a brother now. It was nice to have his body back to himself too. Yugi wore the outfit from the day they played DDM with Duke devlin. "Ready?" He asked cheerfully before leaving his room and decending down the stairs to the gameshop. "We're leaving now grandpa!" He called into the house as he put his shoes on. He heard the old man reply back with a 'have a good time'.
((I have to leave soon but I'll be back in an hour or so))

Joey rubbed the top of Sam's head playfully. He did like her, they were going out. But he didn't want to get romantic. It didn't make sense to him, Sam was beautiful, gorgeous even. But he just wanted to stay close to her like this. He smiled greatly at the food, "Heh heh, thank you!" Joey took the bowl of chips and started eating them rapidly. He was stopped when he heard Seto's voice. Joey swung his head around and attempted to say 'Seto' but had food in his mouth. He swallowed and growled at him, "Who are you calling an animal!?" He hated when Seto harassed him like this. What was his problem? They all could be really good friends if he didn't act like a jerk.
Akiko knocked on the door, a servent opened the door for her. "Thank you, Mary," she said. She had learned the names of most of the people who worked here. She would talk to them and that them. They were really nice. She walked into the living room- she saw Sam and Joey first. "Hi guys!" she waved happily. She looked over at Seto and smiled happily, "Hi Seto!" She was happy to see him, as well as shocked. She walked over to him, should she hug him? Maybe he'll hug her? She wasn't sure, Seto was her first boyfriend. She was new at this.
Atem followed Yugi down the stairs and out the door. They walked to the Kaiba mansion. It was a nice warm day with a cool breeze. Atem looked at Yugi, noticing what he was wearing. "Your dressed nicely," he said. He had a good idea for his reasons, it was easy to see it in Yugi. Well, maybe only easy for Atem since they did share mind and body for a long time. Atem turned his head away, he realized that he himself was in the same predicament as Yugi. He just hoped that it wasn't apparent to others.

((I lied, they decided to let me stay home so I can post))
Seto rolled his eyes. "Isnt it obvious mutt or are you too stupid to figure it out?" Seto said with a smirk. when Akiko walked in Seto didnt really know what to do. He had never had a girlfriend before. He would probably be more confused if it was an actual relationship but he was just using her to get rid of that rumor that he was gay. what a ridiculous rumor. But the way she greeted him, all happy just to see him. He kind of liked that. Not that he would admit it out loud. Anyway Seto leaned down, giving her a small kiss on the top of her head like he would do to one of his siblings. It was a small sign of affection that he hoped would at least fool her. he almost felt guilty about using her, almost. "I have to go to work..." He said when he pulled back. They had barely spent any time together but Seto was dedicated to his company before her.
Sam put her hand on Joey's arm. "Just ignore him okay Joey?" She said, trying to calm him down. She arely went against Seto, not even to defend her boyfriend. She looked over at Akiko and smiled. "Hey." She greeted back with a small wave of her other hand. "The other's should be here soon." She informed.
Yugi blushed, looking down to the side and scratching the back of his neck. "Oh thanks." He said but was really happy about the compliment, hoping Akiko liked it too. Though neither ever said anything about their crushes both knew of the others. They were just too close not to know. "So do you think Kaiba's going to be there?" He asked, trying to just sound casual. He didnt want to be around when Akiko was with her boyfriend, especially since that was Seto. Seto wasnt very loving so Yugi wondered and was worried about how he treated her.

Joey growled at him one more time. He mummbled underneath his breath as Sam calmed him down. He sat back where he was and sighed. He went back to eating chips. He heard Seto was about to leave, but he didn't waited for him to leave before he asked Sam a question. He leaned in and whispered, "Why does your brother have to act like that?" He looked over at Akiko and waved as well.
Akiko smiled from the kiss and attempted to hug him. However she stopped when he pulled away. She covered it up nicely, by putting her arms behind her back and nodding. "Oh.... ok then," she said. She had gotten her hopes up when she saw him. "Maybe I'll see you later?" she said slightly hopefully. She rationalized all his behaviors, giving excuses for him.
Atem smiled cooly back at him. He took into consideration what Yugi said and chuckled slightly, "Probably not. He'll be working as usual." Atem quickly stopped when he thought about the whole picture. He patted Yugi's shoulder and said, "It'll be ok today. Don't worry." They arrived at the mansion, Atem saw the bike near the house. He thought it was Joey's, "I guess Joey is here." He knocked on the door.

Seto was now more focoused on Akiko, not paying any attention to Joey and Sam. He didnt know what to say. He normally wouldnt care but this girl made him feel guilty. He cursed those stupid emotions and gave a slight nod. "maybe..." he said but he really doubted it. And if he did come home he would just go in his home office and work.
Sam gave a slight shrug. "He's only like that with you." She responded quietly. "Its not like he is nice to everyone else but he just picks on you a lot more for some reason." She said. Maybe it was because Joey and Sam were dating? sam thought that might be it cause Seto was not happy about the idea when she first told him. But he said that it wouldnt last so why should he bother to break them up. She sighed, wishing she understood her brother better.
Seto walked to the door. "Make sure that flee infested mutt is gone before I'm home." He said before opening the door, seeing Atem and Yugi. He growled a little. "Why is the freak convention always held at my house lately?" He asked rehtorically before pushing past them to his limo, muttering "Losers."
Yugi looked at the bike and then up at Atem frowning. He hoped Sam wasnt getting in the way of their friendship. Joey didnt mean to steal Sam from Atem it just kind of happened. Yugi just hoped that this would all work out good in the end. He looked closer at the bike and grinned. "Thats Akiko's bike not Joey's!" He said cheerfully, hurrying to the door with Atem before Kaiba opened the door. Yugi frowned at first, thinking Kaiba was going to be around all day with them. But soon Seto pushed past them. Yugi felt a bit relieved and ignored him before hurrying inside. "Hey guys!" He said, smiling at Akiko, his face automatically turning a little pink.

Joey looked slightly upset. Did Kaiba hate him even more so? Nothing is more awkward then dating somebody and a member of their family hates you. He held her hand a bit.
Akiko overhear Sam's response. She laughed and joked, "Maybe he wants to be your friend." She liked teasing Joey a bit, it was fun. Akiko spun around when she heard Yugi. "Hiya Yugi!" she said almost brightening up. She saw Atem come in as well, "Heh Atem. Yay! Everyone's here." Akiko walked over to the television and saw soda cans on the table. She picked one up and sat on a single chair. She sat indian style and popped the tab. "Thanks for inviting us Sam," she said.
Joey made a face at Akiko, "Stop teasing you!" He looked over to see Yugi and Atem. "Hey guys! You made it!" he greeted them. He had no idea Atem had any feelings for Sam, he was bad at picking things up like that.
Atem growled under his breath towards Kaiba. He let it go though, for Sam's sake. Well, he knew Yugi would feel better now. He walked into the doorway along with Yugi. He first hommed into Sam and Joey. He felt so torn. Joey was his friend, but the situation made him mad- upset. He had to just get over it, he played that back in his mind. At least he knew Joey would treat her right, and at least Atem could see her a lot. He waved calmly and cooly at the group, "Hi."

((sorry I had to go somewhere))
"Dont let that bother you Joey. I'm sure my brother doesnt hate you." She said, squeezing his hand in hers. She looked over at the doorway, seeing Yugi and Atem walk in. She smiled, mainly at Atem. She had a crush on him before Joey and her started dating. It was kind of awkward now that she was with Joey. He probably never liked her anyway and she didnt want to start any problems. She looked back over at Akiko. "No problem. There's so many things to do in this house. We have the arcade, the pool, the sports gym, the movie room..." She started naming things.
Yugi walked over a bit too quickly after her. He sat on the floor near her chair and grabbed some chips. He listened to the conversation. It seemed like he wasnt the only one who was sick of Kaiba. He used to want Kaiba to be their friend too. He looked at Akiko. She was so nice and optimistic. She was like the opposite of Seto so why were they together?

Joey smiled and sighed, "Your right Sam." He gave her a small kiss on the cheek. He then smiled and laughed, "You said the magic word, arcade!" He loved how cool the mansion was, but by no means was that the reason he went out with her- by all means he wasn't fickle. He stopped and thought for a momment, why did he ask Sam out? He scolded himself mentally, how could he ask that? He liked her, she was an awesome person, and she was pretty.
"Ooo, I second that," Akiko agreed about the arcade. "Sam, your house is freaken' sweet," she added with a laugh. She was like Joey, she didn't go out with Seto for his cool stuff, money or fame. She knew why she said yes but knew it was stupid, she tried to not think about it. She looked down at Yugi, "You comfy there?" she joked. "You don't have to sit on the ground, you can have the chair," she offered. She also looked at Atem, he was kind of keeping his distance. She picked up another soda and said, "Hey, Atem, catch!" She threw the soda underhand and softly.
Atem looked at Sam and smiled. However, he looked away when Joey gave her that kiss. He hated that he was so jealous. Sam probably didn't even like him. They got to hang out a lot and they were good friends, but that was probably it. He was brought out of his tranz when he heard Akiko. He caught the soda and looked at it, "Oh, thanks," he smiled.

Sam stood up grabbing her soda. "Alright, lets go." She looked at Joey. "I bet I can beat you in airhockey... again." She said with a wink. That was about the only game she was really good at. Joey beat her at most of the other ones.
Before her and Joey went out Sam was always with Atem when they were in a group but now she felt like she had to pay the most attention to Joey or she would end up paying more attention to Atem than her boyfriend.
She looked at akiko. "Thanks to Seto and Mokuba. Seto pays, Mokuba decides what to do. I still dont even know every room in the house." He said sheepishly. She held onto Joey's hand
Yugi snapped out of his thoughts, not realizing he was staring at her, agian. He did that too much but he couldnt help it. He blushed again. "Oh, no I'm fine as long as youre comfortable." He said. Seeing Sam stand up he got up too. He looked at Akiko. "How about we play a game too? A fighting one? Racing maybe?" he asked eagerly.
Not too long after he had gotten to Kaiba corp had soemthing gone wrong. He had to go home to get a few disks and work at his home computer. He was far beyond pissed right now. he hated when things didnt go right. He slamned the door open to the mansion, dropping his suitcase on the floor before loosening his tie. He was too busy cursing in his head to notice that everyone was still sitting there.

Joey stood up and laughed while scratching the back of his neck. "Man, your really good at the game! Sounds good though. Yo, Atem, you wanna play winner?" he asked him friendly. Joey jumped when he heard the slam, he wasn't sure who it was or why at first. He saw Seto and he looked furious. He kept his mouth shu for once- probably from shock.
Akiko just giggled a bit, seems Yugi was in a day dream. "Well, how about both? Let me warn you though, I'm really good at fighting games," she said. The next thing she knew, she heard a loud slam from the door. Instincts made her curl up and cover her ears, she hated slamming and most loud noises. She looked up to see Seto. She had a mixture of fear and empathy, she reacted on empathy. She stood up and walked somewhat toward him, but kept a very good distance. "S-Seto? Are you ok?" she asked. She didn't realize the storm she had walked into.
Atem looked up at Joey, "Sure, sounds good." He smiled, Joey still was a good friend. Besides, he knew Sam would win so he had to take the oppritunity. He jumped as well when Seto slammed the door. This couldn't be good. He just staired at him, keeping almost his defense up.
