Depends on what music you like. The Strat excels in giving off a really clean sound for blues, classic rock, and if you have the right distortion pedals you can play pretty much anything on it. Ibanez has a more hot sound too it, it can handle distortion like a pro, though it does a pretty good job at playing blues and has a nice clean sound, but not as good as the Strat. Both make good necks so its easy to play both. I just gave info because I can't decide either... 3nodding

Although I am a Fender man, I would go with the Ibanez. It is a Fender, but the Ibanez offers more then any Mexican made Fender could ever offer. It doesn't matter what style of music you play with that one, because its has a HSH set-up.

If you're more into harder rock and such, I suggest the Ibanez. The HSH set-up would allow a better blues sound as well then a regular HH set-up. But if you're more into ligher rock and blues, then the Fender. Frankly, I'm an Ibanez man, so I'd go with the Ibanez.
