Quite possibly the most special of places within the safety of the Serpenti's sanctuary, the nursery provides ready-to-hatch eggs with protection from the elements and encourages awareness of one's surroundings on their own accord.
In a large room draped with soft curtains to keep out the brighter natural lights, eggs showing signs that the infant inside is ready to come out are moved to large tables under special lighting, the edge of the table risen for added protective measures. These tables are lined with plush blankets, the eggs nestled into rings of additional blankets to keep them steady as they hatch.
Under the close watch of other adults, the newly hatched Serpenti are cleaned up, their shells removed, and given time to adjust to the world around them.

Snuggled soft and warm in his egg, Gabriel felt safe and happy. But today he noticed that he couldn't get he thumb in his mouth anymore. His favorite pasttime wasn't possible because his elbow was stuck at his side. He felt really big, but small at the same time. He was curled tightly in a ball and tried to stretch out a little, but couldn't. He whined a bit to himself but settled down quickly to nap in the odd position.

Jordyn felt comfortable, but stuffed. Almost like a cat stuffed into it's favourite hidey-hole. He wasn't sure what a cat was, but he was pretty confident that he felt like one. Sucking lightly on the tip of his tail, he played with it lightly. There wasn't much he could do, it was there, but it wasn't much of a bad thing. Naturaly keen senses helped the unborn serpenti to know that there were other things outside of his shell. He wanted out more than anything at that realisation.
Meanwhile; Methamphetamine jiggled inside of his own shell. It was too hot, it was too wet feeling. It was all he had ever known, but now he was tired of it. Clicking his tongue against the roof of his mouth didn't do anything for him, but it did make him feel a little better.

After a hard day of hatching, Gabriel was plum tuckered out. He rubbed his bright eyes with both tiny fists as he yawned. Sleeping was boring though and he wanted to practice talking. "Bla da da...sa sa..." It made complete sense to him, but he kept practicing.

Clutching carefully the sleeping baby close to herself, Soleil peered into the nursery. Pressing her lips together as she spotted the older male, she turned to Selenil and offered a smile. That's Yukio, she offered, her voice hushed so as not to disturb the little'n she held. He helps A'ni take care of the eggs and babies if there isn't anyone the home they're to be placed with.
Her voice caught Yukio's attention, and the older Serpenti blushed softly as he offered a welcoming smile to the two. Hello there.
Hello, again! Soleil chimed, gently nudging Selenil closer before following as well. Yukio paused as his eyes fell apon the infant, and he gave a slightly concerned look between the two younger Serpenti.
Is he...yours?
Oh! No no, Funny story actually...We found him! The girl squeaked, deep blush over her cheeks as result of the other's question.
Found him? Yukio's eyes widened, and he looked to the boy for confirmation of this, his hands reaching for a thick book that rested on the counter behind him.

Selenil nodded. "He was in...a giant pile of oranges. What a way to start out, eh?"

Yukio frowned softly and held out his arms in silent request to see the infant. Soleil pressed her lips together again and reluctantly offered the child, and shifted back to near cling to Selenil as she watched the older male with the cute lil wiggler she was completely falling in love with.
Hmn...The male tilted his head as he examined the child, running his long slender digits through the soft orange locks atop the baby's head. My book says this little guy is part of your family, he started, shifting his eyes to look to the purplehaired boy.
How come we found him with oranges then, Yukio? Soleil squeaked, gently tugging on Selenil's arm in her dramatic confusion.
Well, eggs have a strange way of finding their families - Maybe A'ni got distracted on her way to take him home. This was offered on a laugh from the older Serpenti as he offered the sleeping boy towards the others.

"Well, that's unexpected!" Selenil blinked, hands on his hips. "Well...does he have a name at least?"
The baby stirred, waving a hand at Yukio's hair with a baby grin.
(We'll say he's not all teenagery yet. XD)

(( rofl Sounds good to me. :3))
Yukio smiled to the barely waking babe and nuzzled him gently, though careful to keep his hair from reach as he shifted through the pages of the thick book again. I'm...not sure how one would pronounce this...Or if A'ni knew what she was writing, really, but...With a squint of his eyes he leaned closer to the book before shaking his head and shrugging. Or...Oryl...Oryllin? I think that's what it says. The older Serpenti coughed a laugh and blushed as he shifted carefully to look over the little'n he held still. Seems to fit, So unless you'd like to call him something else? Yukio looked to Selenil with a shy smile as Soleil looked between the three males, though her eyes focused mostly on the little'n Yukio held.
I think Oryllin is a great name for him! And it's fun to say! Oryllin, Oryllin, Oryllin~

"It sounds like a fine name to me!" Selenil smiled and nodded. "Oryll for short...Yeah."
Oryllin, or Oryll, gave a tiny grunt as he curled his tail up, still reaching to Yukio's hair with a baby gurgle.

Oryll~ Soleil giggled, giving Selenil a gentle squeeze before she moved forward to better look over the little'n Yukio held still.
With a gentle, amused little tsk, Yukio shook his head and shifted to dig through a drawer real quick. Hair is not a good toy, especially when the destination for said toy is likely in one's mouth. With this he offered Oryllin a small, squishy-but-durable teething ring, and watched to see how he liked it.

Selenil laughed a little and watched.
Oryll took the teething ring and looked at it before beginning to gnaw on it, holding it with one hand while the other reached out to his hair again.

Soleil gave Selenil a gentle nudge as she tilted her head towards the other, a soft smile on her lips. Are you okay? She blushed softly with her question, but couldn't help ask as the other seemed considerably quieter than he'd seemed before.
Yukio shook his head in amusement and nuzzled the baby before offering a fuzzy plushie, a chuckled 'Hair is not a good toy, little one'.

Selenil nodded, smiling brightly. "He's just such a cute baby! Well, not that I've seen alot of babies, so I guess they're all cute but...still!" He laughed.
Oryll, frowning in a cute little baby way but waved his hand at the toy and gnawed on the teething ring and kept on reaching.

Soleil giggled and nodded in agreement. Babies are super cute indeed! she chimed, giving the other boy a gentle squeeze again.
Yukio tsked again at Oryll and shook his head in amusement over the boy's persistance, and offered him towards Selenil again. I'll let you go ahead and take him back...He may be hungry if he's only just hatched as the rest have.
