I mean, does anyone know good tutorials for coloring with color pencils? (I know I sound extra repetitive~ x] )
Uh, Primsacolor specifically...maybe markers too... I found a few on DA, but if there are any others....~ ^^-
....Regular advice is fine too. Any sort of tips...I'll take it! =]

Well make sure they're sharp, sure it sounds obvious but still it makes a big difference for me... And I pretty much use them like regular pencils, dont push to hard at first just go over it many times to make the color more intense. But that's just me I'm not a colored pencil expert

It was always drilled into my brain that coloured pencils need to be gone over and over and over again, so there is no white on the page.
However, I find that both ways (showing paper and not) can turn out very well.

Hmm...I think that pressure variation can also have an effect with color pencil as well. I usually place a base color lightly in one area, then layer the colors on very gradually by lightly going over the same area over and over again until I'm happy. I'm not sure if Kneaded eraser will also help for highlights, but I guess you could try that too.
I also saw one artist use tissue to blend color pencil works in either the Comic Artists book or the Japanese Comickers book. (I'm pretty sure it was the Japanese Comickers book, you could probably read it for free at Borders if you mooch at bookstores like me. sweatdrop )

My mother said that in using color pencil we must remember that we need to do 1 direction stroke only.it helps making your drawing neat.
