Please excuse the sudden PM though you are receiving it as an Aduthule owner. You are not obligated to answer or give your opinions. It's just a mass PM sent to everyone.
I want to personally apologize for letting the Aduthule die a second death. However, I'm hoping that a third time will be the charm and we can make a great community out of it. I've decided that I'll once more attempt to bring the shop back through encouragement of lurkers and owners alike. I had planed to just let it go, but if many are willing to give it one more try then so be it. I may not be the best artist for the job but I'm going to give it my best shot and hope that it'll stay fun and people will stick around. I'm also thanking those of you that have stayed and allowed me to see how fun the shop really is.
Though, before I begin the shop again I'm hoping to get some insight from the owners. As this will obviously be the third time the shop will attempt to run the shop, and hopefully the last time it'll die, I'm looking for any ideas or advice to change, add or remove concepts from the shop.
The following is a few things I'd like to state and get feedback on as well as your own ideas.
As previously stated, all the children that have been abandoned multiple times will not go up for adoption again. Instead they will become NPCs as they have to save on the re-use of art again. There's already several in shop custody and I hope there won't be anymore.
Currently I doubt I'll attempt another metaplot/massive RP event until there are more active owners. It didn't go to well last time due to my bad planning and bad timing.
I cannot make Non-RP heavy pets from Shadow Puppet bribes RP mandatory, however those of you who are waiting on her art need to realize you're probably not getting it. She's MIA and has been since August. Art for the shop is being taken over by me, and I don't see growths for yours happening. I'm sorry if it sounds wrong or unfair but it's she you paid I hope you can understand.
If Melo is your artist, I have contacted her once more and was told she'll have art within a week or so. Let's hope it's true this time and if so prepare for growths or quests, whichever you prefer.
All guest artist auctions, the artists have been spoken to and all are working on what is owed. Some of you I have spoken to directly and arrangements were made. But do know that your Aduthule is not forgotten and I will do everything I can to get you what you paid for.
As far as activity goes, it's safe to say I'd like you all to be active again when you can. I understand some may be under hiatus, but please inform me now. I'm not asking for extreme heavy action, just a simple post in the journal once a month. The post can include an actual journal post or a link to a RP thread somewhere in the guild, or even anything you can think of. Just as long as the page gets one post a month that I can see when I check will make me happy. Even a place saver for a later date. It will make it easier on myself LOL...
But for the record, this is how I've categorized everyone. If there is any mistake or changes to be made please let me know:
Non-RP : Sable Rose Puchiko Britain Orasteele Yeu quietsnooze Kamiki
Unknown Status / RP Mandatory : chirigami Raja Faewynd Jan the Verse Roxy_Roxanna Kyrianna Sika-chan draconianraven Naita Raife Ecavi Tymiko the Pirate Girl Mordavrin Latpas Koko-Tokei
Hiatus : DDB DivineSaturn - till end of Nov-ish
Revoking Ownership : Lenachan358
NPC : Sajhiri Arach
If there are any changes I need to make, please let me know. Meaning if you are on a hiatus due to school, work or any other reason. Please let me know ahead of time. Also, now would be the perfect time to revoke the ownership of your Aduthule if you no longer with to stay with the shop. I know it's had it's ups and downs, no one is forced to stay with it. I'd rather be told now then find out a few months from now that you're no longer interested.
If you are RP heavy with SP art, you now have to options. The first is to take a hiatus until if and when she ever comes back. Which unfortunately I don't see happening. In a sense it'll stay as it is form now on and I'm not going to require you to RP something that won't grow. If this is the path you choose please let me know. Second option is having me or someone I can commission to finish it for you. I'm not the best artist out there but I am learning. I have no actual proof of what I can do for the Aduthule yet, but I will show examples soon enough. If there is an artist you would like to finish yours, please let me know and maybe I can work out a deal with them.
I'm really trying to find a way to please everyone in any way possible.
For updates on this PM and to offer your own opinions and gripes, please post here: http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=11141039 Instead of Pming me unless you'd like to keep certain thoughts private. I don't mind it being a community discussion as I am trying to get ideas from everyone and we can all work together to make the shop last. Hopefully we can all be adults about it as well and work together. I appreciate any posts and advice given, thank you all once again. <3

My Other Ideas :
I was thinking of having the pair theme locked either permanently or until it reaches adulthood. IE if you have black and white, someone else can't quest for it unless you give permission or it becomes an adult. Yes/No on this? Themes will be locked after theirs a pair of each gender. IE one male and female set of black and white.
Cosplay is another issue. Perhaps either actual cosplays or your thule just wearing a characters clothing. Let's discuss it? No cosplay
More to come when I think of 'em...

Hello Balle good to hear your alive especially around a busy holiday time ^.^
I get the feeling everyone will be busy or on hiatus this time of year but I for one would love to see the Aduthule come back. I will go ahead and stay under the rp mandatory list, though if no one is around to rp with...but hopefully that wont be the case.
On the subjects of former children becoming NPC's that a good idea. RP event was fun, but since it spanned such a long time it seemed to loose steam? - As for having themes locked for pairs that sounds good/ as it was I thought there couldnt be more then one of each? - Cosplays I think are a bad idea for Aduthule, their really unique and to see a bunch of cosplays would I dunno take away from them I think. As for 'just being dressed' like a character I get the feeling that could lead down some bad roads and fighting and naming issues, but thats just my opinion.
Good to hear theres a comeback coming!

I agree, as a lurker I think Cosplays would be bad for something as unquice as Aduthule. I don't think you need the extra pull anyway. When you mentioned a sale there were a lot of people jumping up. Sales always get people talking. If you want a nice jump of people I'd say give a sale of a few pairings to give more new owners a chance to get in.
New owners are often excited to RP and will bring life to old RPers if given the chance.
What do you mean for themes locked? I'm sorry but the question confuses me.

Theme locked means, if someone has black and white, someone else can't get that theme/concept until it reaches adult hood or perhaps permanently. I don't recall a rule against it at all before. D:

The rule before as far as the owning the 'same pair' was that you were able to share the same paradox, but one pair had to be male and the other pair, female that was the only rule 'against' owning the same pair
Personally I am against the cosplay idea. As has been mentioned I don't think the shop needs the pull that cosplays often bring in. I also don't think it really goes with the flow of the shop, or rather, the idea behind the shop. Cosplays just make no sense. in my personal opinion that is XD;;

I agree with Sika, having a cospplay aduthule isn't really partof the theme. I don't see how having two different character can be opposite. It's just ... off

I don't think the cosplay's a good idea. Personally, I see far too many shops as it is that deals with Cosplay, and Aduthule is far too unique to go to that level, and perhaps you should keep that uniqueness?
Also, for the locked themes - I think having male and female is alright, so that would equal two pairs - on the up side of that, there can be different differences, as in example both Sika and my pair (that I'm questing for)... there are very very few similarities, and their personalities are far different. xD; So many people have different ideas, and if they see one taken, they might be turned off, thus the idea for having just a different gender.
Hope this helps at least a little. @_@

I'm glad I came online today. I just wanted to let Roxy_Roxanna know that I haven't forgotten her adu pair. But I didn't like the artwork I started months ago so I'm going to redo it. sweatdrop
Sorry it hasn't been done sooner. But I had a couple of big freelance jobs to do after work (one I didn't realise I had to do unil recently). Paying a couple of K's so i couldn't really turn them down.

Themes locked with a pair of each gender.
What else shall we all discuss? =D

Also, would people protest to me making a templated like relic stage? They'd all be edited for uniqueness but kept similar as in pose. D: If that explains it well enough.

A template for the relics would be much easier for you, and if they're edited I have no problem with it. :3 I vote for yes on that.

That would be fine with me. It'd certainly make it easier for you to get out relic tags faster if the artist is still working on the first stage. And I think it would be in keeping with the shop's plot. I mean, they're all the same 'species' right? So the first stage can look the same (but with the edits as you said).
