Elusively Taken
Elusively Taken is an exclusive, elite underground Thief organization. It is centered in New York City, with affliates in hundreds of other cities around the world. Cities such as Milan, Dublin, Tokyo and Egypt. This group is controlled by one Lanser Othius; he is an all around weak man, placed in the leadership position as a mere puppet, following the orders and whims of those who control him. The people who control him, prominent men of today's society, such as CEO's, Mayors, Senators, even Supreme Court Judges, fight amongst themselves in order to be on top of the worlds largest Black Market Organization.
Othius, however, is not quite as stupid as he might seem, though he is not all that intelligent either. Playing both sides of the fence, he intends to turn the organization against the people who attempt to control them, as well as to trick the Leaders into having the entire organization hunted down. So not only must you deal with the fact the entire Association is being destroyed, but also the fact that you can't trust anyone, even you're own friends.
Because of the obvious tension in the once semi-peaceful Organization, three main groups have formed into being. There are those that steal only from the rich in order to help the poor, keeping nothing for themselves. The Hoods. Then there are the ones that steal purely for selfish reasons, keeping all he takes and making a fortune. The Kings. Or, finally, will you be the ones that don't particularly care, stealing from others only for the rush and joy of not being caught. The Nobles.
However, just as there is an Organization of Thiefs, there are people out there to catch and stop them. These people are the cops and the bounty hunters. They take their jobs seriously, arresting anyone who breaks the law. However, they are not just trying to bring down Elusively Taken, they are trying to capture the people who run it. They would turn down a Thief any day if the option for one of the Leaders was open.
So, which will you be? A Thief in the night, stealing for the poor? Or will it be a Thief who takes for himself, selfish beyond reason. Or prehaps you do it only for the fun? Will these three groups work together to overcome these new problems? Or will they only split further apart, until Elusively Taken is no more? It is up to you to decide the outcome of this quandary. And don't forget the Cops and Bounty Hunters; Will you take up a badge to hunt down the wrong doers of this city?
